It melts, reduces or oxidizes depending on the flux you use, metals like gold and silver and will do a fine job on PMC burn out. It isn't quite hot enough for platinum but will certainly throw enough heat for brazing steel forgings, iron castings and the like. This is the valve. Hose and adapter nozzle that was on my 500 gallon propane tank that I used to fill my John Deere tractor. The tractor was stolen so I do not need hose any more. This is placed on an empty tank on the wet tube. It allows fow from the tanks pressure to flow propane into your smaller tanks. It works on tank pressure so no need for electric/ mechanical pump. Fill end fits standard mounted propane fill connections like on John Deere 730 or as found of motorhomes. With adapters(not provided) it can also fill small portable tanks like 10, 20, 100 lb'ers.
