This is a very rare Pelton& Crane Co primitive dentist/doctor floor light. It is in working condition and is a very solid piece. It swivels and bends exactly as you would hope and holds firmly in whatever position you put it though it is easy enough to adjust. It is very well made and has a very heavy base for ultimate stability. The lens is blue until lit and everything appears to be original. A small switch on the underside of the light turns it on and off. It works perfectly much of the time but sometimes you need to wiggle it a little. It measures approximately 62" tall at its maximum height and 14" in diameter at the base. Overall an excellent and rare piece that would make a nice addition to any home. This ceiling mount exam light was installed in a local dental office until last week when it was removed due to retirement. The light is in good used condition with some light scuffs and superficial scratches from typical use. The back reflector is in great shape. But the front plastic cover has some creases.
