Repainted Antique New Home Treadle Sewing Machine Cast Iron 12" Flywheel
This is an Antique New Home Treadle Sewing Machine Flywheel. I have pictured the frame it fits. It has been wire-brushed and painted semi-gloss black. It comes with the mounting shaft. Cup and screw. The metal has pitting from being rusted. The middle"U"shaped piece can easily be removed with one screw and tapped out. The pivots where not painted. It measures 12" diameter with a 5/8" shaft. It measures 5" at the pivot points. The end pivot barrel measures 11/16" diameter. The area for the pitman arm is 5/8" diameter. The assembly fits into the frame. The pivot barrel inserts into the frame from the outside and is held in place by the screw. You may have to insert the barrel first if the frame blocks to outside of the hole. Wisconsin Engine VG4D / V465D Alternator Conversion No More Flywheel Problems!
Tired of fighting a troublesome flywheel alternator system? This conversion includes distributor drive adaptor. Alternator, brackets, and wiring necessary to convert to a automotive style alternator. Belt is not included as the belt length will depend on final positioning of the alternator. The drive adaptor is a good used piece. The alternator is a Delco rebuild(rebuilt by Delco not import) and the brackets and wiring are new. This system will only fit models VG4D and V465D. Distributor is not included. But we do have both conventional and electronic distributors available at extra cost, contact us for details. NOTE: This conversion will require some fabrication to mount the alternator. We provide a mounting bracket but some welding may be required to provide a pivot point for that bracket.
