So it is likely rated at 175 Amps. Probably 100 Volts PRV. The anode is connected to the heatsink. Cathode is the copper lug. This curve was taken at about 2 kHz. So it shows the junction capacitance as the loop on the right. I guessing it is about 1000 pf. Vertical scale is current. 500 uA/div. Horiz o ntal scale is 2 V/div. This curve is Vertical 100 uA/div. Horizontal is 500 mV/ d iv. Looks like the forward voltage drop is pretty low. I t will be more with higher currents. The warning label makes mention that the maximum power output is 10mW. A long way to go to get to the GW levels the main laser was rated at. The plug that was in the end of the cable was cut off when dismantling the system because the plug was wired on after the cable was routed through several holes. Sacher Lasertechnik MLD1000 Lasertex Controller& TEC Diode Lasers For sale- a Sacher Lasertechnik MLD 1000 Lasertex Laser Controller and a pair of laser heads. Models TEC100 and TEC500. The controller is in excellent physical condition as I think you can see in the pictures. So you can imagine my disappointment when I plugged in the AC and absolutely nothing happened. Turns out there is a keyed interlock on the back and I don’t have the key. So I had to open it up and jumper around the key switch. Which is all it took to light it up. But with the wires hanging out the back I didn’t want to attempt turning it around and taking the picture from the normal direction with a backdrop. It also explains why there are tools lying around and screws loose. So either A) you will have to find a replacement key. Or B) you will have to replace the ... moreentire key lock mechanism, or C) you will have to jumper around it, hopefully with a bit more professional results than I achieved. It isn’t hard to find some documentation on the TEC100. Which Sacher describes as a Littrow Extended Cavity Laser. That may mean something to you. Means absolutely nothing to me, just so that you grasp my lack of expertise here. The TEC500 I find described as a Littman/Metcalf Tunable Diode Laser. No idea what the difference between them is other than the obvious physical size. As you can see in the last picture I have not one but three of the TEC500 diode laser modules. IF you would prefer to have two TEC500 instead of the 100/500 combo I can live with that. Because of the delicate wiring situation I didn’t bother trying to“play around” with the controller too much. And not having any of the associated cables I made no effort to connect the controller to either of the diode lasers. So other than powering up the controller the system is completely untested.
