Vintage FLOWER BASKET Quilt, Beautiful Details, Hand Quilting
CHERISH EACH DAY& ALL WILL BE OK This vintage quilt has beautiful details& is one of my favorites. It has an insert border& fine details. Not normally seen. There is dense hand quilting at 6-9 spi, with feathered scrolls, arches& other pretty designs. Quarter sections are shown, to see the details better. It measures 72" by 86" overall, with a blue flower basket in the middle. There are 2 colors of peach flowers, that look like apple blossoms to me. They are hand applied& have hand embroidered details. The background color is white. the backing matches the front. There is white binding, that was hand sewn with tiny stitches. The blue insert border goes all around, there are 2 rows of blue stripes. They were hand applied with tiny& fine stitches. The quilt is all cotton, has thin batting. It has been washed& ... morelays flat. There is one repair that can be seen in the last picture, a 4" line that was sewn. It wasn't done by me, it doesn't look perfect. There are no other flaws seen. Antique Asian 2-Tier Basket with Lid& Wooden Handle This is a beautiful rare find. I purchased this basket at an Estate Sale where they were selling a lot of Asian items. There are two tiers and the top one is removeable. I've been told this is a Chinese Woven Wicker Cane Basket with wooden beads. There is amazing hand work in the weaving. Carving on the handle and dozens of beads that are strung on a reed that fits in tiny holes. The beads are not glued, so they can turn. It looks as if there is a shellac finish that has preserved the basket perfectly. I try to describe the pieces as accurately as I can. But I'm no expert and you need to look closely at the pictures before bidding. Please look at the last picture that was taken without the flash so you can see how the light shows through the small spaces between the beads.

It has a footed base that has seem some wear over the years and is rusted in a couple places- see pics. Overall. The bowl stands 7 inches tall and sits flat with no wobble. This is a vintage dark blue enamel spatterware steamer or small clam pot. The pan is 6 inches tall(without the lid) and 7 1/2 inches across. It has a 3 inch tall basket or insert with a wire handle. There is also a lid and an X shaped metal insert to set the basket on. Condition is used. There is one chip inside where it has rusted(see next to last photo.

I believe this is the mark for Friedrich Ludewig Eckhard and a mark for German city of Onsnabruck silver made c1810. I have posted pictures of my research in the photos above. I am selling a 1994 Longaberger Ambrosia Basket with Protector. Product card included. The basket& protector are in very good condition. There are 4 small white marks on the bottom of the basket only from sitting on a shelf. Otherwise it is in great condition with no stains or breaks in the splints. This has only been used for display purposes either sitting on a shelf or hanging from a shelf. I have a Herbal Garden Liner with its baggie that I will include for free since it is a little discolored in the area where it hung over the basket in the front of the liner if buyer is interested in the liner.
