Probably from the Chancay culture that predates the Inca. Contents include raw wool(probably alpaca) Several decorated spindles. A black pottery vessel(has a rim chip) probably used as a lime container. Ball of thread. Some cords and twine. Everything is original with the possible exception of the canvass-like cloth cover for the basket lid. This is sewn in place to reinforce the cover hing which has weakened. Reed material is broken at the hing and the replacement cloth cover forms a new hing and holds everything in place. This is a common early repair. Base of basket is in nice condition. Imperial Red White Slag "End of Day" Basket
This is a beautiful piece of Imperial glass. This End of Day basket is red and white with some glint of yellow in the base. It has panel feathers running down the sides. It is used but in excellent condition. I see no chips. Cracks or scratching on this piece. It measures approx. 5 1/2 inches high, 5 1/2 inches at widest width of the basket and 4 1/2 inches across handle to handle. It has the Imperial logo on the bottom of the G superimposed over the fancy I. A great addition to anyone's vintage glass collection. Reduced shipping with multiple purchases.

Vintage ~ Imperial Milk Glass Rooster on Lidded Basket ~ Reticulated Edge
This is a very nice large milk glass rooster covered dish by Imperial Glass. It dates from sometime between 1951-72. Lenox bought Imperial out in 1973 adding an L to the IG mark. Both the lid and the base are marked with the IG. The rooster lid is ribbed and the bottom is the lacy base. It is in excellent condition with 1 crack in the lid. Please see Picture#8 and#9 to review damage. More evident from the inside than the outside. A BEAUTIFUL piece for display. It is about 8" tall by 7.5" long by 6" wide. Antique Reticulated Silver Basket, Cherubs, Germany, 1806?
This beautifully hand-made low basket measures 8 3/4 inches wide and 2 inches high. The wide rim has an undulating pattern all around and the edge is scalloped. The entire sides are reticulated and reveal an intricate pattern of flower baskets and hearts. The center is a raised design of 5 little musical cherubs. There are hallmarks above the head of the cherub on the left. We believe they identify this item as having been made in 1806. And very possibly in Essen, Germany. It is.800 silver. The condition is excellent. There are no dents, breaks or loss, and no monograms.

This is a wonderfully whimsical hen in a basket figurine which is in"like-new" near perfect condition without any cracks. Crazing, noticeable surface scratches, or chips. Wonderful care has been taken of this treasured display piece. It stands 5" tall and the top of the basket measures 5 1/4" across the longest part of the top. The Westmoreland trademark"WG" is stamped into the bottom of the basket. We will combine shipping whenever possible. If the contrasting colors. and mind binding swirls. found in good quality marbled“Slag Glass” is your“cup of tea” then pull up a seat! We’re in for a“Tea Party” This is a super nice. Westmoreland Glass Company marked. Reclining Kitten on a Nest. It sets about 4 inches tall(with the Kitten on the nest) and the nest is about 5 and ½ long by 4 inches wide. The is a markers mark on the underside of the kitten. and the Nest is marked on the inside of the bottom as well as on the underside. This is the later mark where the“Westmoreland” name is written out in a circle around a“W” I believe this mark is the one the company used just prior to their closing sometime in the mid 1980's. There is also the"R" in a shield. which is the marking of the Rosso Glass Co. on both pieces. I had thought that this Kitten was part of Westmoreland’s ... moreseries of“Opal Novelties” that were first offered in the very early 1900's. But my research has failed to come up with. proof positive” So for now we’ll assume that it was of a later introduction. The body glass of our Kitten. and Her Nest. is a swirling mass of deep. dark Amethyst and Snowy White Milk Glass. Production of this Marbled Slag Glass. as you might already know. is a labor intense hands on operation. that most glass makers over the years have been reluctant to devote the time and efforts to. The process is involved. with the glass worker retrieving molten material of one color from one furnace. and then a second color from another. The secret is to not over mix the two colors prior to their insertion into the mold. Then. when the molten glass is deposited into the mold. giving it that perfect“spin” to create those desirable swirl in the finished piece. Good color separation shows that the glass worker was proficient in his job. Great colors. with good color separation. and good swirls in the glass. This is what“Slag Glass” or“Marbled Glass” is all about! And trust me. this Kitten and Her Nest.

A stunning rare Edwardian sterling silver sugar and Bristol blue glass sugar or bonbon bowl. It is hallmarked for Chester 1902 with the maker’s marks being EJH over NH for the Hasseler Brothers. It has been beautifully designed in the form of an earlier Georgian example having a broad base with thick wirework sides and ornate moveable handle. It is in perfect condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. The liner is free from chips cracks and repairs. It measures over 4 inches(10.5cms) tall to the rim(6.25 inches to the top of the upright handle) by almost 3.5 inches(8.8cms) wide and weighs 317 grams including the liner 125 grams excluding it(i.e. the total silver weight of 4 troy ounces) A very fine quality impressive example. RARE ~ Imperial CANDLEWICK GLASS BASKET BOWL w Beaded Handle
A very beautiful piece of IMPERIAL CANDLEWICK. The bowl measures approx 5 3/4" x 4 1/2" It is approx 5" tall. I cannot find any chips or cracks. The only flaw I can find is when I ran my nails in the inside of the bowl I felt some small roughness-When I hold it to the light there is a small patch about the size of a dime underneath the one handle that looks like there are tiny clear specks-almost like fine grains of sand.
