For sale is a set of 3 matched Electro-Craft/ Model 530 DC Servo Motors. These would be great on A home made router or 3 axis Mill. These motors include an integral Tachometer and what I believe is a 2 channel encoder. The tachometer is on the tail end of the motor and the encoder is on the output shaft end. These were removed from a 3 axis machine of some type. Two of the motors have the original cable with plug. I removed the plug on one motor to run the motor on a DC power source. I was going to use them on a robotics project but never got around to it. Here are two early brochures from the Westinghouse Electric and Manufacturing Company of Pittsburgh. PA. One is dated 1894(catalog no. 67) and the other(catalog no. 78) is dated 1895. Both are titled"Multipolar Generators and Motors" Both measure about 6 by 8 inches. The 1894 issue has 16 pages and the 1895 issue has 24 pages. Both cover the general design and application of DC generators and motors. But the later version has an added section on arc and incandescent lighting. The 1895 brochure is in good condition. It is complete. With no tears, cutouts, writing, or page separations, and no water stains. The outer covers, however, have some stains and discoloration that was almost certainly due to coal heating. There is a light crease which affects the back cover and several pages inside. The staples are rusty, and have caused minor ... morestains. There's a mold spot inside the front cover which also affects the first page. The 1894 brochure. However, is in poor condition(last 2 photos) The covers are badly stained, there's a major top-to-bottom crease, and some of the inner pages are loose. The staples are very rusty, and have stained every page. There's a lot of writing inside, apparently done by someone who was planning an installation. So.
