Please look at all of the photos and judge the condition of this yourself. Cosmetically this is in very nice clean condition with scratches on the pull rope cover only. I Have no idea if this is complete or not or if it will run. It does seem to have compression. The screws that hold the pull start cover in place are missing. Comes with all the original paperwork shown and the original box. The box is in fair dirty condition as shown. This is being sold untested and as is. This motor had a broken handle but a macinist has put it back in good operating condition. Other than some scuffs and scrapes, this motor is ready to fuel up and run. Up for bid is what looks to be a motor for an old fan. It says it is 1/15 hp. All the info is in the pics I posted. If you need to know a specific number that is on the plate and cannot read it in the picture message me and ill let you know. Brief background of the item is this was found in an old machine shop thats very old. Many of the items are 100 years old. This was found under a shelf with a bunch of other random parts. It was in with the rest of my motors for shop machinery and I'm busy thinning stuff out. External wiring looked pretty bad. So I plugged it in with the short piece shown in the photo's. Came up& ran, so I gave a little oil and let it warm up a few minutes. No irregular heat, smells or funny noises to be found. It does make a little brush noise as it comes to a stop. But hey, I got some creaky joints too and seeing as this things got decades on me, I really can't hold that against it. It has a 1/2" keyed shaft. Hello. This is a great piece of optical history. The motor works very good even under a load. The on/off switch works.Motor specs. are/ volts, 115/amp, 1.7/ duty, cont/ ph,1/ hp 1/20/ rpm,1750/cycle60/ temp rise 40/ no. 4341210/ type NSI-33. Of course you can see that it needs a new belt. All of the parts are moveing, that is, not frozen. It needs cleaned real bad. All the parts are securely mounted on a board with rubber feet under it. There is a three prong plug on it. I saw a motor very similar on ebay for just under $200.00. Please take a good close look at all the pics. and contact me with any and all questions. Craftsman Lathe 1/3 HP Motor with Forward/Reverse Furnas Rocker Switch This listing is for a Craftsman Lathe 1/3 HP Motor with Forward/Reverse Furnas Rocker Switch. The Motor is badged Craftsman and is 1750 RPM. It has ball bearings and a two-ended 1/2" shaft. The Furnas switch is Model A-14. Rated for 1 HP, and in good condition. The wiring is not great but will serve as a guide for putting in the length of wires you need for your set-up. There is a separate ON/OFF switch on the motor, but you cannot use it and the Furnas switch together the way it is wired. This assembly came off a 12" X 36" Craftsman 101.27440 lathe but also works with many lathes. Very nice- Original Westinghouse 1/2 HP. 115 volt, single phase 1725 RPM forward/ reversing capacitor start continuous duty motor with prewired switch. This was acquired from an electrician. He wired the unit using SJ cord. The wiring from the motor to the male cord cap is 30" in length. It is a Hubble Twist Lock. Which mates to one of the recepticles on the control pole. This makes the unit easily removable for service if need be, or for transporting. This is an extremely heavy cast iron electric motor. Nothing like the newer ones which use a very thin metal housing. The control panel pole is 21 1/2" tall. It consists of the forward/reversing control switch. Which operates the motor. The base of the pole has a 4" diameter circular mount with 4 openings for securing to your table top. On this unit is a 110 volt duplex recepticle. ... moreThis receptical has continuous power for use with any 110 volt accessories that you may require. The wiring from the pole to the plug for household current, which is 110, is 10 1/2 feet long. The motor base mounting configuration is 5" on center side to side. Slot openings run from 4" to 7 3/4" front to back. One outside edge of the motor base has been cut off as shown in one of the photos. It does not have an impact at all on mounting. There is a two step pulley on the motor shaft which is 2 1/2" OD. The unit also comes with a V belt which is 43 1/2" long. Outside dimension. An extremely nice set up. Motor runs quiet and cool. Entire system functions very nicely and was wired professionally. Due to the size and weight of the motor it will be best to ship in two cartons as not to damage the controller assembly.
