3 LOT 12 VOLT 70 RPM DC GEAR MOTORS 37MM 6MM 2MM DUAL SHAFT - USA STOCK - RFE
These are slightly used(a few hours at most) DC gear motors rated 12 volts DC 70 RPM with 37mm gear box diameter and 6mm(0.236" diameter flatted output shaft. They have the added feature of an extra 2mm shaft extending out the other end at basic motor speed. I believe the part number implies that the gear ratio is 90:1 or thereabouts and the basic motor speed is about 5000 RPM. This might not be strictly correct as the numbers don't add up. I have tested all of these myself to verify the 6mm shaft speed is 70 RPM +/ 10% on 12 volts no load. No-load current is around 50 mA. These motors are surplus to our requirements owing to a design change. They have been removed from equipment after a few hours with light loading. Two vintage Gilbert erector set electric motors. One from the 50's, and the other from the 30's, or 40's. Both are in good running order, no gearboxes are included. I'm calling the one a P56, because that's the closest I could find to identifying it, anyway it will run off AC or DC,has little paint loss, and the decal is still mostly there. The cord has some wear through spots, is not plyable, and should be replaced. The other motor is a A49, is in excellent condition, and has a plyable cord. This Inland servo motor was purchased as part of a surplus lot from Vought Aircraft in Grand Prairie. Texas. This was in their spare motor inventory and was sent back to the manufacturer by them for Rebuilding several years ago. It was never put back into service after being rebuilt and is in like-new condition. I haven't any way to weigh this motor as yet but guess its weight at about 250 lbs. It's the largest servo motor we have ever seen in our shop! I will give a 90 day warranty on this motor.
