Western Gear Works REDUCTION UNIT Gear Reducer 100:1
Here is a very heavy-duty gear reduction unit that was used in a local lumber mill. When the mill closed down. And I ended up with it and planned on putting it to use. My plans have changed and I no longer have a need for it. From what I understand, this unit is in good condition and it seems to turn smoothly and works well. I don't know a whole lot about these units, but it looks like you could change the output gear ratio if you want to to by putting a shaft in place of one of the plates on the side of the unit. I was told that gear reducers like this one cost thousands when new, so I'm listing it for a very low minimum bid.
