Used Century 1/2 HP 3 phase electric motor! 208-220/440 volts
Up for sale here is a used 1/2 HP 3 phase Century electric motor. It came off of an old commercial sized paper cutting machine. The machine was dismantled about 3 years ago and I salvaged some of the electrical components in the process. This little motor might have some signs of oil/grease around the ends of bearings and cooling openings. But that's because it was in a difficult spot for lubrication. I have fully tested this motor once again prior to listing and it operates fine in either direction with either voltage. Be it 480 or 240/208 volts. Thank goodness I still have both available for testing reasons. Since I do need more room in my garage building I will sell this little motor cheap to someone who can use it. I will list all the specs below. Once again sorry for any gunk that might still be on the motor ends that I may have ... moremissed cleaning. Any questions? Feel free to contact me. I am a Construction Manager for Verizon Wireless and pulled this off a Stanley automated door that was installed at one of our newer build-out locations. The reason the door system had to be replaced was because of a forced entry into our location that knocked the doors off-track and shattered the glass. There was no damage to the header of the door package; however. As you know, Stanley remakes the header units when they remake the door package. So, this was replaced as well, and the old header was salvaged and scraped for parts.
