The drill press has a 5/8 inch chuck size. 16 speeds, and is made from steel and cast iron. It features a 1-1/2 HP motor, is 120/240 V, and 6 inches of spindle travel. The original packaging for this item is ripped all the way along and the top has been mostly cut off. The styrofoam inside has been broken in half and does not completely cover the unit. The drill press itself looks like it was hit on its control panel side and the face is cracked/broken and the start and stop buttons are pushed in. The fan for the motor of the unit has had its back grille dented in to the point that the blades can not move. It can most likely be removed and hammered out or replaced. Up for bid is a very nice condition early 40's 1/4HP dual 1/2" shafts 110 volt Delta Manufacturing company motor. Motor is in excellent condition. The paint is excellent and the tag and decal are near perfect. This came off of a scroll saw that was hardly ever used. The cord works bu should be replaced due to dry rotting. There is no noise in the bearings. One of the ends has a wire wheel on it that may be original Delta or not. I am sending it with the motor but make no promises. This could be used on a band saw.
