Vaccum Pump 1/15 HP Electric Motor
This is a vacuum pump powered by a 1/15 HP electric motor. It can be used for a number of applications. From air conditioning/refrigeration service, lab, etc. I used it to test altitude gauges in a test chamber. I don't have specifications regarding the vacuum capability, but it worked well for my purposes, which included drawing a vacuum to the equivalent of about 30,000 feet of altitude. It has 1/8 NPT inlets and outlets. I have a standard pneumatic quick disconnect installed on the vaccum port, and a sinitered brass diffuser on the exhaust port. The pump is powered by a Fasco Industries 1/15 HP 3375 RPM(at 60 Hz) electric motor. The motor is currently wired for 115V. But can be wired fro 230V. The motor itself can be used for a number of applications including driving small machine tools, fans, etc. This unit is in great condition ... moreand has had little use. As always. Vintage 1/6 hp repulsion start single phase electric motor. Brass tag is intact and has the last patent date of 1915. The serial number is AG1. Measures approx. 10 1/2" wide(including shaft) 7" high, weighs around 26lbs. Motor was found in a barn and has heavy soiling and dust build up, I have not attempted to clean. Metal has some rust with heavy loss to paint. Shaft spins by hand but I have not tested with electricity due to the condition of the cords. Please see photos. Sold as found.
