An additional tag states motor is suitable for 208 volt service. Has pre-lubricated ball bearings and is thermally protected with manual reset. Features capacitor start and a continuous duty rating with a 1.25 service factor. The reference number is R602909AF8843, made by Doerr Electric Corp. in Cedarburg. WI U.S.A. To my knowledge this motor had never any actual use. And was discarded in pristine condition because some one believed it was only suitable for 208 volts. Significant shelf wear on the bottom. Motor has been sitting for over 25 years in my hands, the frame base shows no signs in the paint that it was ever bolted to anything. The shaft has no set screw impressions, ... moreinside of motor looks totally clean. This is an industrial quality motor, you’d be hard pressed to find one made of this quality today, and as repairable. Being sold as refurbished. The power cord is two(2) conductor and was only installed for testing. This motor has undergone bearing replacement with sealed bearings, the original bearings showed no use but the grease had run out of them from sitting. The original bearings were double shielded only, that should not happen again. The new bearings are not cheap made in China rubbish. But are an expensive FAG high speed premium set. Rest assured this motor is well prepared for severe duty and longevity.
