Each shaft has a flat surface on one side and sticks out from the motor about 1 3/4" It works really well and runs strong. It has a good cord and a good working on off switch. Ohio(1920-1957 then taken over by Reliance) Can be wired for 115 or 230 Volts AC 7.4/3.7 Amps Single Phase. 60cycles 1725 RPM Tested at 120V and runs well. Came from a Early 1950s Delta 8" saw/ 4" jointer setup. Not sure if his was a motor offered by Delta or if the original owner bought it somewhere else. In any case. It is an extremely well built motor. It appears to have a reverse slide control in the brush compartment(see picture 11) But I haven't figured out how to slide it-it could be just stiff and i don't want to force it. This was wired directly into an electrical box, so no plug is supplied here, currently wired for 115/120V. You might also want to clean it out since it was used on a saw to generate saw dust. The motor appears to be in good condition and should work just fine. It has been installed in something and has not been tested but it doesn’t appear to have had much use. The motor is about 11 ½ inches long from end to end and about 10 inches tall from the mounting plate to the top of the capacitor.
