I have a nice Manual model CM Klopp Coin counter. This unit has the later type cast aluminum tray/lid. I beleive this unit was made in 1986. Last year I spent $180.00 on some parts from Klopp including the upper and lower coin rubber wheels. I painted it hammer tone black and polished the aluminum. It includes a set of wrapping tubes for quarters. Dimes, nickels, and pennies and a bagging tube. The unit seems to work ok but I noticed when I count quarters if there is one single coin left it won't go through I need to help push it through the counter. I also noticed that if I cranked it too fast 2 coins would jam together in the hopper under the part that only allows one coin to pass under it before it hits the finger and goes through the counter. I tried adjusting a few points and it works much better than it originally did but it still ... moremay need some fine tuning. I also discovered that the set screw for the lower wheel adjustment has it's head missing. Over all it's a nice counter it does have some minor issues but will get the job done. It does not sort the coins only counts one type of coin at a time. Klopp still supports all their products and I was thinking about sending it to them to hve them fine tune it but I really don't need it anymore so i decided to find it a new home. I honestly prefer manual type over electric for it being easier to clear any coin jams due to the ability to crank coins back out of catch instead of having to turn it off and clear them out. Not to mention never needing to be around an outlet to use it.Very sturdy machine that's Built to last a lifetime or more. We used it for vending business for 10+ yrs and was well cared for. Its a must have tool in any Coin op, vending or car wash type operation. Originally came with 4 rolling chutes but I can only find 2 of them. I only have the quarter and nickel rolling chutes included in this sale. The penny and dime rolling chutes can be purchased from klopp if needed. Can still be ... moreused as counter for all 4 denominations. I have used the nickel chute to roll pennies with no problems due to them being similar in size. I lost one of the rubber feet off the bottom a few years back and had to remove all 4 because wobbled without it. Could be easily replaced with just about any type of rubber screw on feet. KLOPP Coin Sorting Machine/ Industrial Arcade Electric Style/ This says W.F. Read out of Michigan. But looks just like a Klopp. My guess they just sold them under an other name. This came in a large lot of other coin sorting and counting item. The front coin holder was off when it came in and appears that there is some kind of spacer that is missing. I tried to picture this for you to see. The motor is strong and I did place some machine oil into the unit before running and it comes on strong and spins rapidly. Since it appears that there is a part missing I will sell this unit in AS IS condition as seen in photos. Klopp Portable Electric Coin Counter Model No. De 2 In Good Working Condition
I don't know too much about this machine. It was given to me by my uncle. I have tested it and it works fine. It is a coin counter so you put the type of coins in that you wants counted and set the knob to that denomination and turn it on and the counter keeps track of the number of coins that it spits out. It comes with 2 different coin sleeves that attach to the machine(see pics) The top folds over and locks so it can be carried. It looks to me that there is an access panel on the bottom that is missing which I don't have but one could be easily made out of sheet metal if needed. The knobs all work and turn correctly and the counter crank works fine along with the counter itself. The outside is clean and the inside looks clean as well. Happy bidding!

Klopp Engineering Model D2 manual coin counter.
1 Klopp Engineering D2 Model coin sorter. Serial Number 376 364. I bought it off eBay because it had some accessories that my machine did not have. I asked the guy to remove the handle and pack it securely. Well it showed up with a broken handle. I have the handle and you can still rotate the machine. But it would be easier with the handle. It can be welded or replaced. The machine turns but DOES NOT feed or count the coins. I talked to the guys at Klopp and I think they will repair and refurbish any of their equipment. They are very helpfull and friendly. Do NOT take my word please call and talk to them if you want a restored functioning machine. I do NOT have the coin tubes or the bag holder accessories for this machine. I learned that the older machines have the steel lid/tray and the latter models have the cast aluminum lid/tray. This ... moreis the older version. They are well built and need no power as you are the power once back in operation. This will be a good base to get repaired or a parts machine.
