This is a Yamaha Power V Special with a red marble finish. Only one owner has babied her during her lifespan. Feature's Yamaha's unique shell production method and"Air-Seal" system. Ball and socket design tom tom mounts allow for speed and flexibility in setting up the kit. Shells are three-ply Philippine mahagony and three-ply poplar. With the kick-drum being 9-ply(6-ply mahagony, 3-ply poplar) This particular kit was made in England(when Yamaha owned Premier) before Yamaha production was moved to Japan and Indonesia. the 10 inch tom was added later and the badge reads"made in Japan" but matches the kit perfectly. Drum hardware- forty small tom lug tension casings for tom tom and floor tom drums. Twelve larger bass drum spurs, all painted white over original chrome with chipped paint and some pitting and corrosion, three floor tom mounts and legs, two retractable bass drum spurs. Twenty tuning rods. Three mufflers, original chrome and metal, not painted white. All of this hardware is complete with all bolts, nuts, washers, etc. necessary to bolt it to the drum shells you have. Seems to be a Slingerland or Pearl knockoff type hardware, is the type lug with the two indentations on each side of the middle- see the pictures. Can be used as is or use paint stripper to get the chrome back visible after the paint is removed.

Bombo leguero is an Argentine drum traditionally made of a hollowed tree trunk and covered with cured skins of animals such as goats. Cows or sheep. It derives from the old European military drums, and uses a similar arrangement of hoops and leather thongs and loops to tighten the drumheads, which are usually double. It is also called bombo leguero to differentiate it from similar large drums. The body is made of a hollow log, with the inside scraped and chiseled. The drumheads are made of the skins of animals such as cows, sheep, or guanacos. Because the fur is left on the hide, the bombo's sound is deep and dark. The bombo is played while hanging to the side of the drummer, who drapes one arm over the drum, to play it from above, while also striking it from the front. Beautiful Vintage Rogers XP-8 Drum Set - 24/12/13/16 - No Reserve
You're bidding on a beautifully reconditioned Rogers XP-8 drum set. This was the first time that a mainstream drum company offered eight ply(made by Keller) as a regular production option. The"XP" means"Extra Projection" and the"8" indicates eight plys. All of the original decal"badges" are still intact and all the production numbers point to a manufacture year of 1980. It is thought by many that XP-8's were some of the finest drums Rogers ever made. Without a doubt. These drums were a truly great swan song for a legendary company that wouldn't last too much longer than when these were made. This kit's been professionally refurbished by fully dis-assembling. Cleaning, polishing, waxing and buffing all of the original lacquer"Tobacco Sunburst" color-chemed eight ply Keller shells ... morealong with the same treatment for all of the chrome seen on the kit. While all the drums' finishes are totally original(except for some small hand-touched-up chips from a previous owner) there is some of evidence that these drums were well-played. Although it's noticeable, it's certainly not a big distraction when viewing the kit as a well-preserved example of a desireable Rogers configuration that hasn't been in production for over a quarter century. The good news is that all of the chrome is beautiful, exhibiting only minor flaws on a few select pieces. Again, not a big deal. Over-all, this kit presents itself extremely well but where it really shines is its sound. Ohhh, that sound! Helping these amazing first-of-their-kind shells sound their best is a new full set of Remo heads. All the toms have coated Vintage Ambassadors on the tops and clear Ambassadors on the bottoms. The monster 24 inch bass drum has freshly-painted hoops retaining a clear PowerSonic on the business end and a Smooth White with a reproduction Rogers XP-8 logo carefully placed in its original location. According to online sources, this kit has Philippine Mahogany and Agathis wood. It is probably from the late 70's or early 80's. Model BD-722D on 22 x 14 bass drum. TT-712D on 12 x 8, TT-713D on 13 x 9, TT-716D on 16 x 16. Made in Taiwan. These drums look and sound great! I don't see any rust. Very few scratches. This set looks to have seen very little use. USED Roland TD 7 vintage drum pads. The Brain unit works perfect and has a brand new power cord. A few of the pads do not have good response and the others work fine. This has a kick pad and kick pedal with remote hi-hat that works okay. Not great. The frame/ stand is a little rough but functions. Ideal for a drummer that wants to add a few electronic toms to an acoustic kit.

For auction is a 1969 Ludwig Gold Sparkle 3 ply maple bass drum. It's size is 22x14. It has been professionally rewrapped in beautiful gold sparkle vinyl. Along with matching inlays on both black hoops. This is the color it came from the factory. The original hardware and badge are intact and have the appropriate pitting and vintage character you would expect. One hoop does have 3 precise matching notches in it where I think a bass anchor was at one point. I placed that where the pedal attaches so it isn't as noticeable. This does not affect sound in any way. It has a bracket on top for a tom holder mount. It has a Remo Weather King Pinstripe head on the batter side. The serial# is 747088. Hi, Thanks for looking at this auction from Chicago Drums. Up for auction is an 18X14 Sonor Phonic Bass Drum in Rosewood inside and outside. The Condition is very good. 8/10. The hardware is in great condition, and the hoop are also in rare great condition. Usually they are all pitted and rusted due to age. That is because the previous owner was a sonor geek, and loved this drum. He was located in California. The edges are perfect. The shell is very good condition. He took out the bass drum muffler and found the same bolts that go in the bottom of the drum to go in the top, and added plastic washers so the metal didn't touch the shell. The only real issue is he added a Sonor Cymbal holder. It's actually very convenient, and looks to be professionally installed, you can see one of the pics I took show the inside of the the shell where ... morethe metal bar is. Compare this line of drums to top class kits such as DW, Tama Star Classic, Ludwig Classic Maple and Gretsch Renown Maple. Roland KD-120 Electronic Kick Drum (Black) - Great Condition!
Hello and thank you for visiting another one of my auctions. You are bidding on a very well cared for. Home use only, Roland KD-120 electronic kick drum in Roland's black finish. I am the original owner of this trigger. Which I purchased brand new a few years ago. Mechanically, the unit works perfectly as if it were still new. Cosmetically, the shell finish and chrome on the unit are immaculate and neither possess any scratches or dents. The only signs of wear on the entire drum are: a moderate abrasion to the black finish(normal wear& tear) where the kick pedal physically attaches to the drum's base, a small abrasion in the rubber ring on the face of the drum where one of my cymbal stands bumped it, and some normal batter wear to the V head, behind the right Remo contact pad, as I played the drum a few times on the bare head ... morebefore installing the Remo pads. My photos show all of the minor blemishes listed above. So you can see for yourself that they are very minor and mostly the by-product of normal use. I decided to sell this unit because I recently purchased a Roland KD-140 kick drum for my setup and no longer require the use of my KD-120. This is a used older Vintage. Hard to find, Tama Zola Coat bass drum Shell. It has the red badge,and it measures 22' x 14' The shell is in very good condition, does not have any chunks missing, the bearing edges are in great condition. The wrap is silver and is in pretty good condition, just has normal wear like scratches, etc. but all in all it is in great condition. It is also a 8 lug.
