The 2 original wood hoops with chrome inlays, 2 drum legs( out of 4) This drum is ideal for someone that might choose to restore, rewrap as the exterior chrome shell has lots of heavy scratches and surface imperfections that probably cannot be corrected. The interior wood portion of the shell is very nice and the lugs look good with very slight pitting and normal for the age( no extra holes) The claws and the tension handles have slight surface discolor and would clean up almost like new with polish. Vintage Slingerland Bass Drum 18"X20"Dia.1950's COMBO BE-BOP No. 451 bass drum
HI, You are bidding on a Slingerland Bass Drum 18" X 20" diameter. Which also includes Tom Tom Bracket and Cow Bell and Aucustic Wooden Block, I am not sure what the model is? I beleive it to be from the 1950's but not sure, this drum belonged to my Father who started playing drums back in the 1940's, he had this bass drum for as long as I can remember, I was born in 1955, I think he bought this drum new in the 1950's based on some of his other equiptment, I tried to date this drum through Slingerland but there is no serial number or a date stamped inside the drum. I removed one of the drum heads it was painted with my Dad's name and his bands name which I am going to keep for sentimential reasons, the ring and the bolts for the head are included but the ring has been rewelded, the other drum head is there but it ... moreis cracked or broke, the drum also includes a tom tom bracket, another bracket that has a cow bell, made of copper I beleive, and a wooden sound block. The overall shell of this drum is in good shape, the outside a wrap and the inside of this drum is in good shape, but I am sure my Dad has drilled some holes in the shell of the drum. My Dad played on this drum up until he was in his 70's up till about 1991 or 1992 where he retired and in 1996 he passed away and the drums have been storage since then. I am hoping that someone who is a Slingerland Drum Fan and can make this drum useful to someone else and enjoy it. Ludwig 8"x12" Rack Tom. Blue/Olive badge, SN#84437, dated 1971. Red sparkle wrap, 3 ply shell(probably maple/poplar/maple from this era) with reinforcement rings, clear interior. Wrap is in very good shape for ~40y with no lift, no noticeable fade, and no significant snare rash, a few minor scratches only(the badge is more scratched than the wrap, actually) Bearing edges are in great shape, drum tunes up beautifully. Lug casings are without rust and with minor scratches only. Muffler works great. Old Ludwig weathermaster head on top(for posterity's sake only) Evans Genera G1 coated on bottom moderately used. Great old drum.

Beautiful Custom Drum Kit Tama Starclassic Birch Shells in Dark Cherry Fade
I'm selling a one of a kind custom 3 piece drum set. Beautiful factory lacquer finish(Dark Cherry Fade) on these Tama Starcassic shells. Very nice aftermarket chrome hardware(not Tama) on all drums. Personally I think this is Tama best wood grain finish. There's a few minor scratches/dings on BD(not bad at all) and the toms look near mint(I see no scratches/dings anywhere on the finish) Other than the front BD logo head all heads are brand new. Sizes are 22" BD(18" depth) 14" low tom(11" depth) and 10" hi tom(8" depth) There is NO hardware other than the necessary legs(BD) I was going to make the low tom a FT and put shell mounts on these toms. But decided to let the next owner make those decisions for themselves. This is a great sounding kit, don't compare it to the current Silverstar line Tama offers ... moreas these shells are made in Japan and have a much better quality 100% birch shell as well as higher quality lacquer finish. The 4 small holes at top of BD is where the former slide track mount was installed, there are no extra holes drilled or altered on these shells, all hardware was a simple bolt on using existing factory holes. Gretsch Catalina Club Mod Mini. Five Piece Drum Set.
This is a awesome sounding Gretsch Catalina Club Mod Mini five piece drum set. Bass drum is 20x20. Snare 6x13, floor tom 12x14, and two mount toms 7x10 and 8x12. This set originally came as a four piece, but later I bought the 7x10 add on tom from Gretsch. Set comes with floor tom legs and two mounting brackets for the mounted toms that will clamp to a stand. This kit is between a flat black and a gloss black color with a red stripe. All drums are mahogany with 30 degree bearing edge. Also has black lugs and black spurs. The lugs on the toms and bass drum are off set. Batter heads are Evans G1 coated. There are some lugs that the paint is chipped off. It is only noticeable when up close. There are also a few scratches. Small dents, and chips in the paint on the shells. The 7x10 is the worse. The bass drum does have some pedal rash but I am ... moresure we have all seen worse. It really isn't that bad. The snare drum is in the best condition. There is some life in the heads but the batter heads should be replaced soon. There are a lot of marks on the heads. You will have to excuse the flash(white glow) in the pictures I tried to get rid of it but no luck. The bass drum is truly a cannon! All drums have always tuned up nicely. I have used these drums in the blues band I play in and even jazz. These used to belong to my son(that's where the issues came from) But he quit so I sold my kit to help pay for my new Pearl Masterworks set that I ordered. Now that my new kit is here these got to go. This kit will make a great starter or a practice kit. I have about $1.000.00 in this kit. Even with the issues this kit has my staring price is a bargain. Slingerland Studio King Drum Kit
I am selling a used 3 pc Nashville Pat Foley Era Slingerland Studio King Drum Kit from the 90s(cymbals/snare/stands not included) I bought this kit off of Ken Coomer(Wilco. Uncle Tupelo) in May of 2011 and it has been my main kit ever since. Unfortunately, money is tight and as a hobby player/guitarist it's hard for me to justify owning a session level kit. The Specs: 18x20 Virgin Bass Drum(no extra holes! 14x14 Floor Tom 10x12 Rack Tom I'm not sure what the color is called but it is a beautiful orange sunburst-type finish in lacquer(not a wrap) There are some scratches in the lacquer(the side of the bass drum. REFURBISHED 1983 Tama Artstar Cordia Drum Kit/Set.....Price Reduced!
This is a 3 piece 1983 Tama Arstar Cordia drum kit I refurbished recently. Cordia/Birch/Cordia. Sizes are: 16X22 kick; 13X12 hanging tom; 16X16 floor tom. This kit was a mess when I bought it. No stripper worked at all so everything was sanded VERY CAREFULLY down to the cordia veneer and lacquered like mad! Honestly. This finish is sooo much better than the original in my opinion.the grain/texture now show thru beautifully. Before the thick epoxy-like finish muted the beauty of the wood. I refinished the inside of the shells as well. Bearing edges in great shape and waxed. Chrome on the entire kit is very good.I cleaned everything! Lugs in great working order. The most damage would have to be on a select few of the lugs.some divots and pitting but the kit is almost 30 yrs old. The kick drum does not have the original rims.I put brand new ... morechrome rims on as this kit came with no cordia hoops. The chrome looks great. There are some divots on the right hand side of the kick drum shell but I carefully clear coated all areas for extra protection. Also it appears the drum spur legs are different sizes but fully functional and look fine! I put Remo clear pinstripes on top and bottom. Only three drums in auction. Also I have added a Kickport to the kick drum that enances the punch! Sound is amazing.deep and lush but focused. Please contact me with any questions. 1960's LUDWIG VINTAGE 4 PIECE DRUM SET-Pre Serial Number
This Vintage Ludwig 4 piece drum set in Silver Sparkle has NO Serial Numbers. So it was made in 1960, 61, 62, or late 63. Serial Numbers were not added until 1964. Kit Includes: 20" Bass Drum. Bass Drum wrap is clean. But the rims do have paint chipping, lugs have minor pitting, and the bass support does show rust. Comes with 2 bass drum spurs. The adjustment screws show rust and rubber feet are loose. Has new heads, and comes with original heads. Original dampener sheets are still attached, and outer dampener is included but shows rust and pitting. Lugwig badge is a little discolored. 14" Floor Tom Floor tom is beautiful. And only very minor pitting on some lug casings. Has new heads and original dampener. 12" Mounted Tom. Very Clean. Very little pitting on some cases. Nearly identical to floor tom. Has new heads and original ... moredampener. 14" Snare(The snare is not wrapped to match the kit) Shows rust on throw and lugs. Has original dampener. But no new heads. Overall the kit is in good shape for its age. However. There are some cosmetic issues that I will describe. 1) Straight Cymbal Stand. Stand is not in great shape but is functional. 1) Snare Stand. 2012 Ludwig Legacy Drum Set in Gold Sparkle
I have a 2012 Ludwig Legacy kit in gold sparkle in mint condition- small scuff mark(and I mean tiny) where the bass drum pedal attaches. It has a date stamp of April 19. 2012 although I did not receive the drum set until May of 2012. The drums have probably been played a handful(at most! times. The sizes are: 22X14 bass drum with curved spurs and small lugs. virgin) This drum comes with TWO sets of curved spurs. I bought a back-up pair for gigging. Although I never took this kit out of my house. 16X14 floor tom with keystone mounts and small lugs 12X8 rack tom(comes with Ludwig's Vibraband-RIMS like- mount. Which is not pictured, but I'd be happy to provide a picture if someone is wants to see it) small lugs Bot of the toms have brand new Remo Vintage Ambassador heads on them. And the kick has a newish coated Powerstroke 3. The snare ... morestand in NOT included in the sale. This drum set has never left my home. Vintage 1968 Slingerland 5 x 14 Snare Drum for Set SUPERB
Hello and thanks for visiting. I am a retired jazz drummer. I acquire drums and cymbals from fellow drummers and estates and I sell only those drums and cymbals that sound great. Here is a Slingerland Niles era 5 x 14. 8 lug COS snare acquired from a retired drummer who purchased it new in 1968 and took exceptional care of it, never gigged. This snare is triple chrome plated, looks gorgeous, and sounds terrific. Weighing nearly 8 lbs. it is built like a tank, with Slingerland's patented"stick-saver" hoops. During their years in Chicago and Niles Slingerland was putting out high quality great sounding snares, and this one is a beauty. The Remo resonant head is in like new condition and the Remo batter is well played. Slap on a new high quality batter head and you've got a recording quality snare. The internal muffler and ... morethrow-off work smoothly and the snare wires are aftermarket. Sounds great tuned up for a crisp jazz tone or down for a fine blues or rock vibe. The old Slingerlands held their own with their fine American competitors- Ludwig, Gretsch, and Rogers. Only slight glitch I see is that when the throw-off is in the on position, the top of the handle contacts the rim- not at all significant. I don't have the equipment nor the technical expertise to make a sound file, but if you win this snare and don't love it, I will gladly provide a full refund. This auction is for a rare and collectible vintage Slingerland Artist Model No. 153 14x5.5 snare drum in excellent condition. Serial# 5531. Dating the drum to early/mid 1963. 1963 is the introductory year for both the model and finish of this drum, making it one of the e arliest examples of th e Artist model. With the exception of newer heads. The drum is 100% factory original. The Shell: 14x5.5 solid shell maple with reinforcement rings. Identical to the Radio Kin g. The interior of this shell is immac ulate. With no separation of the rings or cracking. The Finish: The finish on this drum is clean with a tight seam. Listed in the catalog as"Black Beauty Pearl" This finish was removed for the 1967 catalog. And did not reappear until 1971, making it fairly rare for the era. The Hardware: 8 Sound King lugs. COB Stick Saver Hoops, ... morerods, and butt plate are in good shape, with light signs of wear, common to 50 year old drums. The Zoomatic strainer is the only real flaw in this drum.
