It is slightly out of shape with at least one spot of ru st( pictured) Colorfully hand stenciled and painted around the edge. I have provided a photo out of the 1966 Gretsch drum catalog that shows this exact stand. As you can see from my pictures. This stand is in good condition, and it is fully functional. Tama - Vintage Imperialstar King Beat Steel Snare Drum
This is a vintage(1982) Imperialstar snare drum with a 14x5 seamless steel shell and die-cast hoops. It is of the King Beat model. With parallel strainers. It has an incredibly thick and beefy tone with medium to low tuning, and is very cutting when tuned high. The rimshot is amazing. It is in fair condition being as old as it is. The shell itself has scratches and light rust in areas; nothing major or sound-affecting. There is one wire missing on the snares and could use replacement. Along with the bottom head. The strainer/throw-off works as it should and the hoops are in very good condition.

This auction is for the five drums with mounts on toms and three floor tom legs. That is all. This is a five piece DW exotic shell kit. Kit was custom made by DW in November of 2004 and I purchased them brand new from a drum shop in late 2007. These drums look awesome and I have never seen another kit like them. The finish is flames over exotic curly maple. The figured wood looks amazing on the shells. The Sizes are the DW Fast Sizes. I believe 8x10 diameter. 9x12, 14x11, 18x22, and a 14x5 or 5.5 snare. Away at college. Not home to measure but I think it is 14x5.5) The reason I am selling my DW drums to buy another set of DW's in different sizes. These drums have never been taken out of my basement/music room and have never been gigged. As for condition the shells look amazing. I looked and couldn't find a scratch on them, there may ... morebe a tad bit of pedal rash, but I don't think much at all(always used a rubber piece between pedal clamp and hoop) The chrome hardware on the drums looks really good and shiny but if you get really close and examine the hardware shows a little bit of texture, but might be able to be cleaned up. The Two Toms have the DW suspended mounts on them and the floor tom comes with the 3 legs nothing else is included. no snare or cymbal stands or cymbals) The 10" tom has a clear Remo emperor head on it and stock DW bottom head, The 12" and 14" both have Evans ec2 clear batter heads with stock bottom heads, the snare has an Evans vented batter head and stock bottom, and the kick drum has a Evans black Emad onyx batter head with a vintage classics style front DW resonant head. Strong example of a vintage kit by a great company from a great time period. The drums are in great shape and all original. The sizes are great and the drums tune easily and sound wonderful. No issues with the original wrap. However. The color does vary slightly between the 3 drums. Each are gold sparkle but in their own way. The 13 has a hing of lemon, the 16 is pure gold and the 20 has a hue of amber gold. It is hard to tell but I want to be clear on this fact. For sale is a set of vintage Slingeland Bass Drum Legs. These were pulled off of a S ling erland 22" Bass Drum. Screws and backplate are included. The legs measure 14" in length.
