Beautiful Gretsch early 60s Vintage 5.5x14 Snare Drum Beautiful drum! This one was very well cared for. From a smoke-free home. The original White Marine Pearl on this beauty is absolutely gorgeous! Glossy and looks amazing! The seam is down tight. There's hairline splitting right at the seam. You have to look very closely to see anything. Not noticeable unless you're holding the drum up close and inspecting that area. See last pic. 6-Ply shell. Shell is in round and modern heads fit on easily. You don't have to struggle to get heads on this one. The bearing edges and snare bed were smoothed by expert Nodar Rode of the Manhattan Drum Shop. He does amazing work. Look him up on the web. I got this snare in a trade with a 3 piece 1951 Slingerland Radio King drum set(matching tom. Floor tom and bass drum) This snare was purchased to match as close as possible the missing original snare to that set. It's in awesome condition, period appropriate and sounds great. Badged for the Superstar line but with a unique 18 mm thick 12 ply birch shell and a gorgeous metallic black finish. This drum is not in showroom condition, but comes extremely close with no damage to the hardware and all original parts including the original snarewire in excellent shape. This is a gorgeous, heavy, and thunderous rock drum with sharp edges and a shell that produces the most amazing"crack" we've heard on a snare in recent memory. 1964 Ludwig Super Classic Drum Set w/Cymbals Red Sparkle Time Warp 1960 64 60's
There goes the income tax check! The kids will have to wait until next year for a pool because it will be a long time before you will find another kit like this. Vintage drums are still a bargain. Had this been a 64 Les Paul or Fender Strat. You would've had to take out a second mortgage! This IS the kit. My fellow Ludwig fans, you have been waiting for! I am the second owner of this kit. The original owner got it as a gift in 1964. Played it for a while. Then stashed it away covered in bed sheets until I stumbled upon it! The set includes everything that came with it. Just the way it did way back in 1964. This includes the Original Ludwig/Paiste cymbals. Stands, throne, key and wrench, pedals and bass drum front hoop anchor. and yes. The 1964 5 1/2 x 14 Supraphonic snare! Every tension rod. Washer and rubber foot appears to be original. ... moreTo the best of my knowledge. Nothing has been replaced. I did add a couple of cymbal felts and touched up the hoops tho: ALL badges and serial numbers match. KD 28xxx, RT 28xxx, FT 29xxx, and the snare 27xxx. No date stamp inside but. Each of the wooden drums have a capital cursive L penciled inside. Could it possibly be William F. L. Chrome plating is excellent on the Supra. I could only find a couple small flecks on the entire drum! Original snare wires and strainer are perfect! Ball bat mufflers with red felt on all drums in excellent condition. Chrome plating is excellent with some light pitting in a few spots. And in many cases no pitting what- so- ever! Red Sparkle covering is vibrant and fade free. That's ZERO FADE! It's hard to find ANY imperfections in the covering. Factory bearing edges are untouched. The stands and pedals are in wonderful. Functional condition with all the rubber feet. Some of the rubber has hardened. HH stand shows a bit more wear and some pitting. One FT leg has lost a bit of chrome on the side that faces the drum. Ludwig/Paiste cymbals include 15" yes. 15" hihats, 16" crash and 18' ride. Little or no keyholing. Minimal

Vintage Slingerland Snare Drum 3 Ply Maple Black Diamond Pearl 5.5"x14" 1967-69
VINTAGE SLINGERLAND 14" X 5.5" 3 PLY MAPLE BLACK DIAMOND PEARL SNARE DRUM Black and Brass Niles Badge Serial# 17616 Circa 1967- 1969 This auction is for the Slingerland Snare Drum shown in the pictures below. This drum is in absolutely beautiful condition with some very minor wear from use. The throw works fine. The drum seems to be mostly original. Snare wires are original and heads are new. Batter is a nearly new Evans G1 Coated and the snare side is a Hazy 300. The badge is tight. Muffler/Tone Control is complete and works fine. Stick saver counterhoops. Beautiful clear maple interior. Classic 60's Slingerland maple 3 ply with maple reinforcing rings. Great sound. This drum was obviously well cared for throughout it's life. From the pristine condition I would say that it wasn't played much. And the minimal fading ... moremight indicate that it was kept in a case for most of it's life. It's an absolutely beautiful specimen that is so nice that I believe it is suitable for any true vintage drum collector. I have owned over 100 snares from the 50's and 60's(see the last picture) and this was one of the most pristine. Bearing edges are like new. For the player or the collector. This drum is a cream puff. I detailed this drum personally when I bought it. That means I stripped it down and cleaned and polished everything. First a cleaning with Barkeeper's Friend and then the hardware is polished with Brasso. Then. Everything got a coat of wax for protection and shine. And, when I say everything, I mean everything. Including the springs inside the lug casings and every thread of every tension rod. I'm pretty sure I put felt behind the springs in all the lugs to prevent any spring rattle. That was standard procedure for me in those days. Not 100% on that, though. All the screws inside were polished and waxed just like the rest of the drum and hardware. It's been sitting around for a while so(in my opinion) it needs cleaned up and detailed again and there was some tarnish on the

1950s Walberg & Auge Vintage Drum Kit - 22, 14x16 foor, 13 - GOLD SPARKLE
A Beautiful 1950s Walberg and Auge Drum Kit! Original gold sparkle wrap. Original nickel hoops, Super clean interiors! The sizes of the kit is 22x14. 14x16, 13x9- NOTE- THE SNARE AND STANDS ARE NOT INCLUDED. The only modification to the kit was a ludwig cymbal mount that was added on the bass drum. This has been removed and the holes have been filled with 2 bolts. The kit is missing: 3 bass drum rods and claws. 3 rods and claws for the floor tom and 1 rod for the rack tom has been replaced. The bass drum is also missing the cymbal mount holder. There are no spurs(never were drilled on to the shell) so the correct spurs would be clip on. The wrap has ZERO fade. just some spotting like gold sparkle is known for. The consolette bass mount has one extra hole. but i believe this might have been factory? The hole was drilled and re drilled to straighten ... morethe mount out a bit. See photos. The entire kit has BRAND NEW heads. The All of the heads(with the exception of the resonant size bass drum, which is a new Remo FiberSkyn) are NEW Aquarian American Vintage Heads which help with the slightly oversizes shells. All Thin on bottom and Mediums up top! The shells are incredible. Much like those of older radio kings- The floor tom and bass drum have 3 reinforcement rings- one in the center. African DJUN DJUN or DunDun. Small Kenkeni Drum. Approximately 18" tall by 11" across. This is a gently used African Drum from Ghana. Made of rare Iroko wood, and heads made of goat or cow hide. I am not an expert on African drums, and can't distinquish the difference in the skins. The brown head has a gouge about 4 inches long, and several worn spots. The white head has some worn spots, and needs cleaning. See my pictures, ask questions before bidding please. Heads are tight, and the drum has a nice medium high tone. This module was designed to enable TR808 style drum machine pattern fills to be performed with 2 or more analogue sequencers. One sequencer is the main pattern sequence. A switcher and a unique kind of clock divider: FS01 has 4 independent switchers on 2 channels(X& ... moreY) There are 2 control inputs. X& Y, which have control over the 2 channels X& Y. Each switcher has 2 inputs(A& B) and 1 output to switch CV, Gate or even audio signals. The switchers can be used in reverse, giving 1 input being routed to one of two outputs(A/B) The FS01 has a special kind of clock divider. The Bar/Step 1 clock input counts bars. Take step 1 out from any one of the sequencers and connect this to the Bar1 input. If your sequencer does not have a Step 1 trigger output. Maybe one can be fitted(Analogue solutions can do this for the TH48) If not, just use the main clock signal, and divide it down by how many steps long the sequence is. With the Bar1 input to the FS01 connected correctly, it will count bars and every 2, 4, 8 or 16 bars a +5V gate is generated at the appropriate socket for the duration of the fill-in bar. These can be patched into the control inputs(or to another module) All fill-in control outputs are active and can all be used at the same time if desired. Casio's RZ-1 came out in 1986 and in its time. It was pretty good. It has 12 PCM sampled drum sounds- basic sounds, and nothing to get excited about either. They included 3 toms, kick, snare, rim, open/closed hh, ride, crash, cowbell and clap. They don't sound like real drums, but they do sound electronic and maybe a little different than more common Roland and Linn drum machines. They have been used in lots of Hip Hop and House tracks. A real special feature(for its time) was on-board ... moresampling designed to let you create up to four of your own percussion sounds. Now. The sampling specs are pretty bad with just a 20kHz sample rate and only 0.2 seconds of sample time per each of the four sample pads(or one 0.8 second sample) Its a very lo-fi sound, which may be a good thing. The only editing you can do with your samples is a simple low-pass tone adjust. The built-in sequencer is fairly easy to work with. Just create some patterns(up to 100) and chain these patterns into songs(up to 20 songs) There are ten individual outputs and volume sliders for every sound. Well. Some sounds have to share outputs and sliders as there are 16 sounds: Rim+Snare, Sample1+Sample2, Sample3+Sample4, Cowbell+Crash, Clap+Ride and Open+Closed HH. Kind of cool and a little different but certainly nothing to fall in love with here. It's been used by Prince Paul, Autechre, Steve Poindexter, DJ Mike Smooth, Raw Dope Posse, Christian Vogel and lots more. This is Used Gear and shipped as working. This is a late 50's early 60's Rogers Holiday 3 piece drum set in great condition for the age it a easy 8 out of 10. Included is the 20" kick drum a 12" Tom and a 16" floor Tom. Plus all the original hardware. Kick pedal. Tom mount, kick drum cymbal mount, snare stand and one extra cymbal stand. Most all of the parts are original the floor Tom has a replaced hoop and lugs and one of the kick hoops are a replacement. I am including all original take off parts if you want to restore them. The hardware is in varying condition some great some bot so great. I purchased this kit from the original owners estate sale it was well taken care of however he was a working jazz drummer and the kit has and is intended to be played.
