This jeweler was located at 105 West Main St. Lexington, Ky. and closed its doors in 1993 after 82 years in business. The tray is in good condition except for 2 small spots pitted places. This auction is for an Artley 15-0 open hole flute! It is silver plated. Has an inline G and a C foot. It is in great used condition! Pads are in decent shape and it plays very well. I played it chromatically from the lowest to highest registers with no problems. This flute is in good cosmetic condition, the silver plating is very bright and shiny. There is tarnish in the hard to reach places like between keys and under the rods. Other than that its very minor. There are some scratches, and there are some dings.the norm for used flutes. The 2 dings that I consider the worst are on the head joint but NOT the lip plate, I tried to get pics but as they are very small they are hard to get on pictures. Bulk lot of 15 steel/ Brass or Bronze plated hinges
This internet eBay auction is for a bulk lot of 15 steel butt hinges. The four in the front row measure 1 3/4" x 2 1/2" and are brass plated. They have some light rusting and scratching on the plating. All four move freely and are in working order. The one on the far left is just a little different that the other 3 it doesn't have the half round pin at the top not a huge difference but is a little different. The one hinge in the bottom right appears to be Zink plated and has some rust coming thru the plating. This one measures 1 3/8" x 1 7/16" this one is stamped Stanley USA. It moves pretty well with a little resistance. The hinges in the top two rows appear to have a bronze plating on them and are in very nice condition never used all are stamped USA.
