Up for bid is one vintage'STERLING' Nickel Plated Brass Trout/Fly Reel with Clicker. Drag Control, 2:1 Geared Multiplier, and 60 yard line capacity. On the top of the reel foot it is inscribed on one side with"STERLING" and on the other side with the British pound sign and the words"TRADE MARK" The British pound sign and the words"Trade Mark" identify it as a Sterling trade reel, the name used by the H. A. Whittemore Co. of Boston. This reel and tackle retailer operated from 1901 to the mid-1970s and sold reels made by Montague, Pflueger and others. From the foot design this reel is identified as being manufactured by Pflueger. The reel has nickel plating over brass. The plating is in good condition. There are small surface scratches from normal use. This is a great item. For anyone wanting to compliment their valued WWI Springfield M1903 rifle. Up for sale is a Type 1 oiler in very good condition. With an unissued brass cleaning thong, and patches. This oiler would be the correct type for a world war I Springfield 1903 rifle, but can also be used with all other Springfield 1903s, 1917s, and M1 Garands. There are 1 or 2 small dings. And the nickel finish is better than 95% intact. The oiler has the squared shoulder of a type 1 on the oil reservoir end, not the rounded shoulder seen on all later, type 2 oilers. This will make an excellent addition to any 1903. 1917, or M1 Garand buttstock.

Description: This auction is for 1.1 lb. Or 499 g, of gold plated stuff ranging from high to low grade. Most items are vintage. The majority are clean with no solder or plastic. I'll point out those that aren't clean. Pics 2- 5 show 160 g of high grade CPUs and chips w/3 CPUs at 92 g- VLSI. Intel, and Cyrix. There are 56 g of ICs, several have a gold top plate, gold legs, or both. Some were de-soldered. There are a small bunch that are legless, but with a gold soldered stainless( lid with gold internals. Two aren't ICs, but type 80186 CPUs and missing the gold cover plates. Last are 12 g of transistors with gold plated bottoms and legs, but some legs contain a little solder. As a side note, I believe the grey trace IC is NOT a rare AMI, and if it is, it's missing a leg. Pics 6& 7 are for 135 g of decent vintage mid-grade ... morematerial with 63 g of edge clippings from ladder wire(clips from ladder spool pins. Example of a pin attached to a clipping shown) 21 g of NOS gold legged black resin/plastic transistors, and 51 g of electric contacts. If you look close to the"51 g" marker, you'll see how I originally bought the contacts- there's a sample showing how someone soldered pairs together to make a gold plated contact. Like a dummy, I heated the ends with a torch to get rid of the lead, but it didn't work. The solder creeped further up the parts and left discoloration. So, I clipped the solder/lead off and this is how you'd receive them. Pics 8& 9. Are 204 g of mid/lower grade materials, with 127 g of mid-grade transistors with gold plated rims and legs(which are short, several with solder traces) 54 g of fiber/plastic CPUs, and 23 g of power trans with plated legs(grounding plates are not GP, look like stainless) USA bidders only. Up for grabs are all my watercooling fittings from two watercooled setups. Most have some white/green powdery substance that can be easily cleaned with dry paper towels. Although this substance seems to protect the fittings from corrosion as all of them don't have any corrosion. Please check out my other auctions.
