This listing is for an authentic vintage sample of antique barbed wire fencing. This wire features a Henry M. Frentress patent. Dated December 14, 1875. This wire is called"Frentress' Lazy Sheet Metal Plate Barb" by collectors. ref. Hagemeier 1449-B) This wire features two round twisted together line wires. Barbs are four pointed made from a diamond shaped piece of sheet metal. Plates are split vertically at each end, and barbing points each side bent towards each other. Normal Frentress plates are placed vertical to the line wires; in this variation the barbs are placed horizontal to the line wires or in the"lazy" position, as used in cattle branding. Here on offer is a rare antique Queen Victoria Diamond Jubilee bread plate. Dating to 1897. This wonderful bread plate is made using a white bodied earthenware with a creamy white glaze. It has at the centre a transfer design featuring a portrait of Queen Victoria held within a garland of oak and laurel. There is crackle to the glaze. A hairline crack and some nibbles commensurate with age. The base is embossed with‘2 LKH’ The bread plate is offered in good used antique condition. Really heavy hob nail cut crystal ice bucket with a silver plate rim. It is 5 ¾ inches tall(exclusive of the handle)I used a very gentle silver polish on the rim and there are some wear spots that did not shine up(please see pictures) It may be with stronger polish and more elbow grease. These spots can be lightened or removed. Note: These small ice buckets make really wonderful vases. Which is how I would use this one. The hob nail pattern hides the flower stems.

This is a gorgeous antique decorative plate made by Doulton of Burslem England. It bears the official makers mark on the underside which dates it back to 1891through 1901. As seen in photos 8 and 9. This is the period prior to the maker becoming Royal Doulton. In 1871 Henry Doulton launched the Doulton pottery studio in Lambeth England. This studio was located in the infamous area known as the Potteries region. The company came to the attention of the royal family in 1901, which is when the Royal was added to the Doulton name. At this time they became one of the finest makers of the highest quality bone china. The company is still in operation today, as it merged with Waterford and Wedgwood within the parent company WWRD Holdings Limited. This particular piece presents in excellent condition, despite its great age. It is in perfect shape, ... moreand truly looks great. ESP LTD JH-2 James Hetfield Black Diamond Plate Metallica Explorer
Up for sale today is a 1998 ESP LTD Explorer. This guitar has been completely upgraded all the way to the exact specs of an ESP JH-2. I spared no expense in completing this transformation. All work was done by a professional luthier. This particular one was the first one I had done for my own personal collection. I used an LTD model for this one as it was less expensive than the ESP model. It came out so good that subsequently I built two more using ESP models. Both of which also turned out great and since have been sold. I'm selling the LTD JH-2 because I'm in need of the money. Hate to see it go. So here is what has been done. The fingerboard was replaced with a rosewood fingerboard with Mother of Pearl diamond inlays. At the 1st fret is a 4M logo also made of MOP. Extra jumbo frets were installed. I removed the LTD logo and replaced ... moreit with a custom made"ESP CUSTOM" logo in two tone color scheme made to correct scale and font. On the back of the headstock is a custom made"ESP CUSTOM GUITARS CIRCLE" logo also made to correct scale and font. Both logo's front and back have been clear coated over so you won't feel any"edges" on either of the logo's. I also fitted the headstock with Sperzel locking tuners. I filled and painted the holes left behind from the old tuners. The guitar body was fitted with aluminum diamond plate. The diamond plate thickness is the same as what is on an ESP JH-2. The diamond plate has been powder coated with a matte black finish(not painted) which is also very durable and scratch resistant. I used era correct EMG quick connect pickups. 81 in the bridge and 60 at the neck. This particular LTD also came with a serialized neckplate, thus dating it to be a 1998 model year. This explorer may be an LTD but after the upgrades you would never know unless you knew what you were looking for. The only way you would ever really notice the difference is to have an ESP model side by side with this guitar and even then the differences wouldn't jump

It was made in 1950 by Fenton and does not have any damage whatsoever. In fact, it is almost pristine. The large plate would make a great serving piece for large cakes and other baked goods. Beautiful Diamond, Diamond Swirl pattern 12 7/16" Plate Platter Mystery Maker
Now I don't know who made this very attractive diamond pattern plate but who ever it was did a great job. The pattern consists of a band of small diamonds about 2 inches wide coming in from the rim edge which has a slight diamond"scallop" The rim edge is about 3/4 inches high. The 2 inch band of diamonds adjoins a band of clear glass that slopes downwards to create a very shallow"bowl" in the center area. About 6 inches wide. That circular depressed center area has an attractive band of diamonds that appear as a"swirl" of diamonds. The very center is a 1 1/2 inch diameter clear circle. The plate is about 12 7/16 inches in diameter. The some of my family is"eyeballing" this piece it may not be listed much longer. I assume this piece has been used in the past and I do see a few very light scratch's, ... morewhat some call"knife and fork" scratches. I had to hold the plate/platter up to the light to see them. I found no chips, flakes, cracks or"bites" on the piece. Check out my other items!
