Antique Copper Grape Pattern Lightning Rod
This is a beautiful lightning rod that has been mounted for display on a triangular base. The rod itself is copper. Which has been tarnished green with age, and the ceramic ball has a distinct grape design. Truly a piece of art. This quirky bit of Americana will go well with any decor style. There is minimal damage to the rod. The ball has small chips in either stem(which is very normal after use) And a few aesthetic scratches. The lower section of the rod is bent slightly, and the three supports are rusted because of normal use. Dimensions: 36" high with base. Ball measures about 4 1/4" across. Vintage Antique 68" Copper Lightning Rod with Blue W.C. Shinn Milk Glass Ball
This is a beautiful old copper lightning rod with metal stand and blue milk glass W.C. Shinn Mfg. Co. ball. The copper has a fantastic green patina and the stand has some surface rust. But it is still sturdy and functional. There are holes in the ends of the stand legs for attaching the stand to the roof or other structure. The glass ball is a bold robin's egg blue with the words W.C. Shinn Mfg. Co. wrapped around the middle. There are some tiny chips missing from the top rim and two larger chips missing from the bottom as shown in the 4th, 7th, and last photo. The ball still sits nicely on the metal disk, and there are no cracks in the glass anywhere. The white disk you can see under the ball on the photos is a thin foam disk that is there to protect the bottom rim of the ball, but it is not necessary and can be slipped right off. Vintage South Bend Telescoping Fly Fishing Rod...with Copper Colored Extensions.
Here is very nice old South Bend Telescoping Fly Fishing Rod. Sure looks to me like the extensions are made of copper but a magnet sticks to them. So.perhaps they are copper coated steel extensions? This rod is 39" long and extends out to over 7 feet 8 inches. The first(smallest dia) extension pulls all the way out and comes out of it's sheath but can be put back in easily. The other 2 extensions extend outward and stop.the way they should. Overall it's in excellent condition.the eyelets are all intact and are not crushed in any way. The cork is still in nice condition as well. What a great example of a vintage fishing rod. Still would work nicely for fishing or for display on your wall.

This is a Aermore whistle. I'm not sure if it is an exhaust whistle for a Ford Hot Rad Rod Model A or T. Or. It may have been used on a John Deere Tractor. It may be a steam whistle, I'm not exactly sure. Here is what I do know. It is a 4 tone copper whistle which works great.I blew into it and it sounds wonderful. Each copper cylinder is marked: AERMORE PAT'D JAN 20, 191? AUG 23, 191? It is obviously from the 1910s but I cannot make out the last digit of the year. It measures 12" long and a total of 3" wide. For your consideration.This is a vintage,Ca 1930's Bristol Steel 108"39 1/2" closed)telescoping fly rod in near mint condition with original cloth cover with tag that has some issues with a 17" tear and one hole not shown.There are no bending problems and the 4 sections are slightly tight,but telescope perfectly.The top 3 sections appear to be copper(or at least copper clad.The lower section is painted in green.The eyelets are soldered into place and are nearly flawless except for one small(1/8" x 1/16" loss and retain their original shiny chrome surface.The cork handle is clean and flawless.This rod does not appear to have ever been fished and if it was,it was very seldom. The original cloth case is showing it's age with a 17" split and one area with some small holes(not pictured)The tag is still very ... morelegible with the Bristol name and instructions for care on the reverse side of the tag. The rod weighs in at 9 ozs. Unusual Color Gold Copper Mercury Type Glass Lightning Rod Weathervane Ball
Cool Vintage Lightning Rod Ball in an odd color. It has an overall Gold Color. But has just a tinge of red to it making it look a bit like polished copper. So you can decide. Ball has both collars and tube intact. Gold/ Copper coloring has some very minor wear or imperfections in the form of tiny specks. Was hard to get these to show due to reflections, and the flash. Last picture shows this slightly, It has nothing too too ugly. No BB holes cracks or other damage. Comes from an old collection that has not seen the light of day in over 30 years.

Here we have a used Cadweld mold. The mold configuration is to attach a single 4/0 copper cable to the top of a 3/4" ground rod. This is a deadend connection. Not a feed through. The Cadweld model number is GRC-182Q. It uses a single#90 weld metal cartridge. This connection is one of the most common in building and substation grounding applications. This mold is used but is in decent condition. It will still make a large number of burns. Please see the photographs that show the condition of the mold. Up for auction is a VINTAGE COPPER COFFEE POT ON ROD IRON STAND/ NORTHERN CAL. LOGGING CAMP. This item was found in an old redwood logging camp in Northern California. The pot measures 11 1/2 inches tall. It sits on a rod iron stand and the coffee pot sits on it and tips for pouring. I am not sure of the year. We found it in my Uncle's shed with most of his camp items. He was a logger from the 1930's 40's and early 50's. It was cleaned a few years ago. Antique 72" Twisted Steel 3 Legged Lightning Rod W/ Copper Tip. This is an antique lightning rod with a copper tip. It measures about 72" tall. The piece is in fair condition with cracks. Damaged pieces, tarnishing and metal wear due to age and use. It needs adjusting/bending to stand up straight. Please see photos for item condition. We sell mostly used items and some may have small imperfections that we might miss. TWO OLD VINTAGE LIGHTNING ROD WEATHERVANE BALLS AMERICAN FOLK ART COPPER PATINA
This is a set of two weathervane balls. They are made of solid copper. They were acquired from a duck hunting club in southern Missouri. The duck weathervane( I also have listed now) was mounted on top of the clubhouse and it blew off the roof top in a huge storm in 2010. It never was remounted and has sat in a storage shed ever since. It took a major hit and there is damage to the balls as shown in the photos. I am not sure of the exact age of this vane but was told by the owner of the club that it was there when he purchased the property in 1960. I will leave the exact age to be determined by the pros.
