Huge 16-1/2" Shackle Hoists Winches Rigging 55ton + 2-3/4" Screw Pin Crosby?
Hi I think this is a construction or rigging shackle as that is the information I can find about it. I have not found a name on it but looked up the largest one on the Crosby sight and the largest one they had was a 55 ton 2-1/2 inch shaft(this one is almost 3" for the pin) for about $800.00 and theirs weighted 55 pounds(this one is about 75-80#s)so this is a little bigger then that. This is about 16-1/2 to 17" inches long. Some dings from being used but in good working order. The screw pin goes in and out as it should. This is a really big shackle and weights about 80 pounds all together. I will have to ship these seperate as I am over the limit(70pounds) for the weight at the post office. Shipping will be a flat rate of 50.00 and if it comes to more than that i will put in the rest and if a lot less a refund will be given. It has a 2" pin(base-of-threads diameter) The throat opening is about 3 1/4" The overall shackle dimension(not including the protruding pin) is about 13 3/4" x 10 1/4" My scale shows the weight as a bit over 45 pounds. The pin installs easily by hand. There's a touch of light surface rust on the pin threads. But it's just from sitting about. I see no damage or odd marks anywhere on the shackle. Large P&H Shackle Clevis 25.000 lbs. with Roller Pulley Up for bid is a large Shackle rated on the side at 25.000 lbs. The shackle has an aluminum Roller with a smooth action on the pin. Size is 10 ½” long, 7 ½” wide, opening is 3 ¾. The roller has a center tapered 2 ¼” ramp. The pin is 1 ½” in diameter. This shackle was part of a military recovery vehicle’s equipment. It can be used for crane rigging, logging, and attaching to a fixed point for slack cabling or angle rigging, or rescue recovery work. This shackle is also great for 4x4 off road use as a cable anchor point on a tree to run the cable through to a fixed object while pulling a vehicle around a bend in the road or other right angle position.
