This is a vintage wooden(oak? pulley with an iron hook and beautiful original rope work. The hook is permanently attached to the pulley through an iron'eyelet' type hole which protected the rope from fraying. A thinner twine has been tightened with hand woven knots to form this'eyelet' The rope fits in grooves around the sides of the pulley with a little separate loop at the bottom. It has that ruff. Stiff feel of old rope. The wooden wheel has good movement.But does not spin around freely. There a some specks of white paint. Auction is for a vintage block and tackle pulley system with rope. There is a bout 20 feet of old vintage hemp rope attached to the pulleys. The tackle has two pulleys on it. The pulleys are about 2 inches wide. At the top of one point there is a hook. The hook is marked 1149. Another hook on the opposite end of the rope marked 1152. Flag Pole Truck Pulley with Brass Eagle, Rope Cleat and Flag Clips
I have a flag pole truck pulley for a two(2) inch flag pole. The truck pulley is solid cast aluminum with a nylon pulley. It is topped with a gorgeous brass metal eagle to really make your flag stand out. Also comes with a chrome metal rope cleat. Stainless screws and two nylon flag clips. The truck pulley attaches to a 2 inch flag pole with stainless set screws. The item is used but is in perfect working condition. My flag pole could not survive Wyoming winds so my loss is your gain. A few unraveled strands around the taped end. Other end is looped. Very strong and sturdy rope section about 28 feet long. Weights about 3 pounds and the rope is about 3/4" in diamter. old strong and tough boat fishing or anchor rope made of unknown material 28 feet long weight is about 3 lbs when using a metal tape measure. The diameter if the rope is just about 3/4" inches this rope is in used condition but still very nice some areas look whitish other yellowish or brownish due to usage and age. also some few areas with minor dirt and wear. one end is well closed with a sturdy loop about 12" long while the other end has a 6" long pieces ... morecovered in black tape.
