4-Vintage Cast-Iron Industrial Cart Caster Wheels Albion Caster Co. - Steampunk
This is a set of four very heavy duty casters made by Albion Caster Co. This set has a A- 4- H cast in them see the 6th picture. They are 5 1/2" from the mounting plate to the the bottom of the wheel. The plate is 4 1/2" by 4" and the caster itself is 4" across and 1 1/2" wide. I do not see any chips or cracks. This set is a little more greasy because they have a grease nipple on them. They need a trip through a solvent tank or a sand blasting; I cleaned them up a little for the pictures. Antique huge Payson cast iron roller bearing swivel caster(only 1) There are 2 sets of#s on it of which I assume one is the model# They are 102 and 192-3. As I stated this is huge and heavy. It stands over 6" tall. The metal wheel diameter is 4" and it's almost 2 1/2" wide. Center hole to centerhole of the mount plate is 5" in length and almost 2 1/2" in width(center hole to center hole) The mount plate measures 6 1/2" in length at the longest points. There is a bit of play from the mount plate to the wheel housing where the bearings are. But I'm pretty sure that's how it's supposed to be. This weighs in at over 8 lbs. It's heavy. I will set this up to go USPS Priority in the shipping calculator. Great vintage antique cast iron caster. It has a 6' diameter wheel. This is a fixed caster. The wheel turns but it is not a swivel caster. I would guess it came off an industrial cart. It could be used to repair your cart, add to others to build a new cart or as an art piece.

Very Old Furniture Roller Caster Porcelain Iron Repair Replace w/ old orig part
This is a caster or roller- probably on a dresser or table. The metal appears to be iron- the roller part of the wheel is porcelain. On one side of the wheel- there is a chip near the axle. It does not wobble. The"axle" appears to have been driven in and one end hammered down to catch and keep it from coming out. The rod that goes into the piece of furniture is iron and it tapered. I have no idea how it stayed in the furniture. The porcelain wheel is 2" across& just over 1" thick. The rod is 3 1/2" from the shoulder of the fork. Please email any questions prior to purchase. This is a nice old set of caster wheels. The wheels are all cast iron and the frame is a very heavy metal. They all match. They are marked Fairbanks. There are no cracks or chips. We have cleaned most of the grease and grime from this set. But they still need a little rust removed. Each caster weighs approx. 2 pounds. They all swivel and roll smooth. The base has ball bearings and the wheel has a hole made for oiling. They measure approx. 3 1/2 inches tall. The wheel measures approx. 1 1/4 inch wide and approx. 2 7/8 inches across. THREE LARGE ANTIQUE 1800'S CAST IRON AND WOOD CASTER WHEELS
For sale are 3 very large antique caster wheels from the 1800's. The wheels are all in good shape with normal wear and are all usable. The wheels are about 3 and 1/2 inches wide and are 1 and 1/8 of an inch thick. From the top of the metal piece to the bottom of the wheel it measures about 8 and 1/2 inches. The piece that goes into the hole measures 3 and 1/2 inches. I don't know if these are for furniture or are industrial. I would think that being as big as they are that it would be industrial. this is a lot of 4 large swivel caster brackets with 9 1/2 in. wide 5 spoked wheels that are 3 in. thick. the wheel and the bracket each have a separate grease fitting. they are 12 in. tall total including the wheel and the bracket. the bracket plate is 6 1/2 x 5 in. wide and 3/8 in. thick. in good used condition. i bought them at an estate auction where the man had all kinds of large welding tools and carts. they are very heavy. over 60 pounds total. so when i ship they will be shipped 2 in a box.
