The rubber tires are in excellent shape and spin freely. The brackets show signs of wear. A little paint chipping here and there, but are in good condition also. These measure 9-1/2" tall with the tires 5-1/2" diameter. The bracket is 1/8" thick& 4-1/2" by 3" by 2-1/8" The solid steel stem is 3" tall and 1-5/16" diameter. These wheels were given to us by our sales guy when we bought our Steinway B Grand Piano from Steinway Hall in New York City. We never put them to use. The Faultless I would not use on a very heavy piano like ours(765 lbs)nor on a Steinway.though it seems Steinway does. Up for auction is these(4) used Metal Iron Industrial Swivel Casters. The swivel casters are in very good condition and all work fine and were taking off a heavy duty industrial office copier that was scraped. Measurements are: Mounting plates are 4- inches by 3-1/4 inches wide and heavy in weight. Wheels are 3 inches in diameter and i believe to be heavy duty polyurethane or hard rubber wheels. Overall height is 4- 1/4 inches on 3 of the casters and 5-1/4 inches on the taller caster. The taller caster was mounted deeper in the unit they came off of but all 4 casters roll evenly. These dollies are in great shape. Show little use, normal wear, some surface scratches. All wheels work properly. I had four, but I am using one for a 375 lb welder and the other for a 350 lb 3 phase transformer. They handle the weight just fine and make it much easier moving heavy items around the shop. Set of 4 solid rubber with cast centers. Set includes two swivel and two stationary with a 4"x4.5" mounting pad. These casters are greasable with grease fittings. The stationary has grease fittings for the wheel bearings and the swivel casters have them for the wheel bearings and another for the swivel bearings as well. These are used so they will have bolt marks and some of the rubber may have some dents/small pieces in the rubber but all still look very good. Vintage Set 4 Heavy Duty Industrial Bassick 6" Cast Iron Casters Swivel Plate
Here is a great set of industrial. Very heavy duty application, cast iron casters. The wheels themselves are cast iron, 6" in diameter, and 2" wide. They are each mounted on a swivel plate, the plate measures 5 1/2" x 5" Each caster stands about 7 1/2" in height. I can see Bassick 6 on each caster, and it also looks like the number 8261 is imprinted on the wheels. These casters are definitely for a heavy duty application. Each caster weighs 11 lbs. As can be seen in the pictures, there are scratches in the gold finish on each caster, all in the same places, but this, in no ways, impacts the function of these casters. There is also a bit of rust in some areas, but once again there is no impact on performance. All of the casters move freely on the attached swivel plates. 4 Vintage heavy duty steel machine cart or similiar item 1 3/4" dia casters
Up for bid are 4 vintage steel heavy duty casters. I would guess these were used on an industrial cart or piece of machinery. The wheels turn freely. There is very little play in the assemblies. There is a fiber board gasket on 2 of them as can be seen in the pictures. I have no idea of the age. The wheels are about 1 3/4 inches in diameter and about 1 inch wide. This item/items as most of the things I sell. Came from an auction, flea market, estate sale or rummage sale.
