Walter Woods 2-Channel Bass Amp Model MI-225
Purchased in the early 1980's from Walter himself. One owner. Amp was refurbished by Walter Woods approximately 10 years ago. And has not been used much since. Everything works well on this amp. You will find a little noise on the input volume if the amp has not been used for awhile. This goes away with a little use(movement of the knob) Walter did an extensive replacement of parts. Knobs, etc. when he worked on it last. This model is the two channel version. With the second channel EQ'ed for acoustic bass. 300 watts into 4 ohm(225 into 8, I believe) Feel free to contact me with any questions. Etc. This TDA7294 150W watt per 2 channel BTL audio power amplifier assembled board was used one day for testing. I purchased this and some L20 350 watt audio amplifiers to rebuild a big power amplifier. I went with the L20 as it is 350 watts. The TDA7294 amplifier works great. It is just not as powerful. These modules make rebuilding old power amplifiers an easy thing to do. I did not have the nuts to fit the heat sink screws so I used old filler plates from computers. They work fine, they just do not look that great. It was a highly respected provider of popular, contemporary music. WLOF owned the market in the ratings from the 1960's through the early seventies and had a very distinctive fun sound and exceptionally talented line up of air personalities. This plate, made of a very sturdy metal material has a ridge surrounding it and the letters"WLOF" are ridged also and stand out just slightly from the plate. From all experiences it looks like this plate was never attached to a bumper. I see no rust or or dents where to the four holes where the plate would be bolted on.
