Pair of antique silver candle stuck holders with blue diamond pattern glass tops
Matching pair of silver candlestick holders with matching vintage/antique blue diamond patterned toppers. These were made by the international silver company in meridan. Connecticut. I researched it and found the company was in business from 1860's to the 1930's. These candle stick holders are in very good condition especially for their age. We talked to antique dealer who confirmed their age and magnets do not stick any to these pieces. They have been in my family for decades and belonged to my grandmother. That is all i know of these. A single spare candle socket comes with it. All of these have the sterling stamp but no company maker mark. Printed on all the very top of the section is'weighted sterling' These parts are in very nice condition. There is a light patina to this piece with no bends or cracks. The bottom screw sections of the sockets are all in excellent condition. No dents or cracks There are a few very tiny dimples on the side of the bottom tier between the arms of the center section. The entire item measures 3.5 inches wide at it's widest point and 4 inches high. The item has no cracks or chips or crazing. Here we have an antique solid sterling silver candle Douser. This item has a beautiful natural Petina from over the years and I will leave it this way as some buyers like a natural Petina look and others like to clean the silver, in any case I will leave this up to the buyer. The curly end of the Douser is stamped sterling as shown in pictures. The top and bottom parts of the handle are decorated with an elaborate design. Adding to its beauty and overall fine craftsmanship. The bell itself is smooth to the touch it is in overall great condition aside from a small dent in the top of the bell from it being bent back a bit. This is truly a beautiful item to have in ones house hold both for functionality and gorgeous antique Americana decor. Total length of the item is-aprox 8 inches. Marked on the bottom"Fisher K202" 6" tall and the bottom is 4" diameter. Tall cup(1 ¾" measures just under 1" diameter on top. When polished it is beautiful and sparkling. Very high quality candle holders! New condition. They were not used and were stored away. Ccould be used for decorations in any decor. It is from smoke free and pets' free home.
