Hone mandrel for Sunnen style adjustable hone 2.75" Superior Hone Corp

Superior hone mandrel set (fits Sunnen with optional adapter)
Very nice set. 2 boxes, of Superior hone mandrels and stones. Each box is about 4" x 15" x 18" with the box for the smaller mandrels and driver being the larger of the two. Has all sizes from 3/16" to 2" diameter. The driver is adjustable(micrometer type adjustment) and these can hone with super accuracy and tolerances. The advantage over the Sunnen hones is that there is much more stone touching the surface of your part, so keyways, splines, out of round holes are easily handled. You also do not wear out the mandrels or mandrel shoes as these mandrels do not touch the workpiece. Superior was purchased by Tennessee Abrasives and they can supply this same complete TRK-2000 set if you so desire and all of the stones in various grits. This exact same size set would cost well over $1,000 and perhaps closer to $2,000. ... moreAll of these mandrels do not have stones. Most of the mandrels have never been used. The driver is a standard Morse Taper so fits or is adaptable to lathes. Drill presses, milling machines, etc. You may need to acquire adapters to fit your particular machine.
