I am selling what's left of the books I have featuring the Incredible Hulk. So this is a great chance to fill in some holes in your collection. This is a very mixed lot, basically bundling up all the Hulk related titles into one last lot. 140-145.147-153,155 are all in nice condition, with glossy covers, and only a very slight amount of browning on the spines from exposure to air. All these books are probably in the FN/VF 7.0 category issue 142, with it's take off on Tom Wolfe's"The Radical Chic" is a highlight of this series. Issues 315-319 were drawn by John Byrne. Never my favorite comic artist, but I have to admit he did a great job here. The Hulk Annual. With one of the greatest comic covers ever by Steranko, is in the worst shape. If it features Steranko, I have read it over and over again, and this shows the wear ... moreand tear. The top corner of the spine on the cover is torn for about an inch and a half. I'm not sure how I got the Future Imperfect graphic novel. But I'm throwing it into this lot just to find it a new home. It has a cool embossed cover. I try to be fair in my ratings of the books. But grading is very subjective, so please look carefully at the detailed photos of the front and back covers and a selection of the interior pages very carefully, then make the final decision on the condition for yourself. These comic gave me a lot of joy as a kid. These is nothing like holding the actual comic in your hands. Turning the pages, smelling the newsprint, and getting lost in the art. Nikon 24-120mm f/3.5-5.6 AF-D Lens - Imperfect but Takes Great Photos
This was a very nice example of Nikon's versatile 24-120mm AF-D full-frame zoom until it was damaged in shipping. After which I was actually quite surprised to find that it still takes excellent photos. The damage consisted of an impact to the front of the lens which deformed the protective filter attached to the front of the lens and caused the filter's glass to break. That broken glass caused some damage to the lens' front element. Mainly in the form of very small pinprick-type marks on the glass, which can be seen in the attached photos. I have not been able to remove the filter. Which although it is stuck on the lens no longer has any glass. Images made with the lens do not seem to be affected at all by the small marks on its front element, and I've received nothing but excellent images using the lens. I've attached ... morea couple of sample sky images, taken at f/5.6 and f/16, respectively, and even full-sized on my monitor I see no effects of any lens imperfections, even at f/16, where they would be most likely to be visible. I'd venture to say you can use this lens with confidence, although naturally its price has been substantially reduced, making it an excellent value for the right buyer. Included in this listing are the lens and front and rear caps as shown. Everything is sold with an absolute guarantee of satisfaction. As Pictured: Soup For Sizing! p The Issues Are As Follows: 1) Hexagonal pitcher with flowers on one side. Strawberries on the other; marked, RC" on the bottom; has chipping to the paint along the rim and handle, chip on the underside of the spout, and slight crazing; all can be seen in the close-ups of the 8th, 9th, and 10th photos. 2) Cream-colored pitcher with fruit transfer; reads. Cape Cod Fruit; Beach Plums, Bayberries, Cranberries" features gold leafing around the spout and a fancy curvaceous handle; has slight crazing and a red mark transfer; this can be seen in the close-up of the 11th photo. 3) Blue and white sponged design pitcher with fancy curvaceous handle; ... morehas a very tiny chip(almost considered a flea bite) at the very tip of the spout; this can be seen in the close-up of the 11th photo. 4) Tall peach and white pitcher with clear handle; this one is the only one made out of glass-FROSTED ENCASED GLASS! It looks like a tequila sunrise! The problems? The worst are the wrinkled and black mold lines all around the base of the neck; this issue can be seen in the main photo and the close-up of the last photo. This problem can be cleverly covered up with an appropriate ribbon. It also has a small worn spot where the frosted effect is rubbed off; this is in the middle of the base. There's also a small surface chip. In the middle of the base, on the other side from the wear mark. Last but not least, the handle has an additional dab of glass underneath it. It seams like this was someone's practice piece or factory second. Very old piece YNEZ pottery. Approximately 5X5 inches, a chicken or rooster. There is a tiny chip on top of the chicken's head, which may be touched up easily with a dab of paint. Swarovski Crystal 2003 Christmas Snowflake (imperfect)
As no snowflake is perfect or the same. So this beautiful little snowflake is imperfect. It was found this ornament with a piece broken as shown on the pictures. This is still such a beautiful piece of crystal and I truly hope it finds a good home. I will be listing my collection of Swarovski ornaments in the next few weeks but wanted this to find a home first. We are downsizing and my children have no interest in my beautiful crystal pieces so unfortunately I must part with them. ORIGINAL VINTAGE HIRES ROOT BEER EXTRACT BOTTLE. IMPERFECT: missing letter'S' of HIRES. This original extract bottle is quite unique. The'S' that should have been a part of the name"HIRES" is missing from BOTH sides of the bottle. You can see a slight'S' shape where it should have been- but it is not embossed as the other letters appear. The other letters appear quite clear& dimensional. When you look at the pictures you can see there is no"S" at the end of the word- HIRES. I have taken pictures from multiple positions. Filled the bottle with colored water, and made it black-and-white for you to see that the"S"is missing. On the corner of the bottle is a measure measurement marker of 1/2. When the extract was being used. You could tell when 1/2 of the liquid was poured out of the bottle. ... moreThere are additional manufacturing marks on the bottom of the bottle. One is a triangular shaped in the middle and other stamps. It is hard to see these in the picture. If you want more detail please send me an email and I will try to describe it for you. The fact that this is a miss stamp. If you will, makes this bottle even more rare than the typical extract bottle. Notice also that the word extract is not embossed on this bottle. Several years ago.
