Great Mixed Lot of Vintage 3M Mark 1 Scratch and Sniff Stickers 1984 Imperfect
This is a fun mixed lot of four vintage Mark 1 scratch and sniff sticker sheets. Sheet of butterfly stickers(TSS-5) is strawberry scented. Sheet is missing a few stickers. Sheet of hearts(TSS-38) is missing one sticker. This is sticker sheet might be fruit scented.possibly cherry. Sheet of doll stickers(TSS-13) is missing at least one sticker. Again. The scent is hard to discern.possibly bubble gum or something floral. Cute pink kittens stickers(TSS-6) has a horizontal tear in the sticker sheet. The middle left bunch of flowers is torn. The tear just misses the kitten in the middle and stops right at the edge of the kitten in middle right. Stickers are rose scented. Each sheet is copyright 1984 Mark 1. The baffles are quilted in a Square pattern to keep things in place. It measures 79" long X 80" wide and has been used in a FULL Size Duvet. This is an interesting. Lovely lot of art-glass paperweights with varying levels of"issues" Please note the lot is being sold AS IS; damage is listed and photographed and no refunds or returns will be accepted. You are buying damaged and imperfect goods. Clockwise from top left: The first paperweight is a large round yellow and green flower with a large controlled bubble in the center. It is in nearly flawless condition. With a minor scratch on one side. The second is a blue glass"pumpkin" in very displayable condition but has small impact chips on the edges. Please see photographs. Next is a white lily egg shape with green leaves that sits at an angle. It has had serious breakage on the bottom and has a sharp edge. But stands well. It would benefit from glass repair filing to smooth the base, but has wonderful flower ... moredetail and excellent artists workmanship. In its original condition, this piece sold for over $100. The small red swirl glass egg has a tiny flea bite chip on one side but is a lovely display piece as is. The last piece is a stunning pyramid of prism glass. With lots of light and color. In the right setting, the rainbow colors will completely camouflage the corner and edge chips, which could be filed down and polished by a knowledgeable glass expert. This was an expensive piece, originally selling for over $300.

Huge Antique French Cashmere Paisley Shawl 19th Century Over 10ft Long Imperfect
chatelaine-chic Description A truly beautiful shawl from the early 19th Century. Shawls this size were used originally over voluminous crinoline dresses for warmth. Afterwards they were much loved as table or bedcovers and sofa throws. The warm colours and fine detailing of the elaborate paisley curls work well in any setting. When I found this one I thought it was perfect. But on close inspection I could see that someone has made two linear repairs a few inches long, one at each end and there are other tiny darn repairs hidden within the pattern. There are also a scattering of small holes, so no it isn't perfect, but it looks fine and at this price you can enjoy the beauty of the incredibly fine weave without worrying about it. The last two photos show the largest repair from front and back. The black silk centre section has a couple ... moreof tiny pulls. But is intact and strong. This tends to be the most vulnerable part and they are often worn or shattered. This one was probably woven in Lyon from silk and wool. You can see the fine silk threads used in the fringes at each end. This is a generous size that you can use as a bedcover or sofa throw. Measurements It measures approx 329 cms(129.5 ins) x 160 cms long(63 ins) excluding the fringes. Condition At first glance it seems fine. But on closer inspection there is a scattering of small holes and a well executed small repair at each end. This is reflected in the price and it is a beautiful throw that you will be able to use for any years. Shipping I post as quickly as possible after payment. Unique Colored Wax Paper Kite Imperfect NR Vintage Art Red White Blue
This unique kite is another from my Dads vast collection if kites from around the world. The kite is made if colored wax paper and is 20" high(plus another 10" with the nose) and16" wide. The nose was broken and the tip was dangling due to the string wrapped into the design. I have tapped it for photographic purposes. But am sure it could be repaired and made airworthy. It's a neat looking kite, well made and was obviously meticulously handcrafted as evidenced by the string used throughout the back to support the paper frame. There were a few small tears which were repaired, sealed with tape. There is a bridle, but I'm not sure if it's the original. I don't know where it originated or what year it was acquired. But I know it's at least 25 years old. Some of the streamers at the bottom of the kite are missing, ... morebut only a few. Please see all the pictures and write with any questions you may have.
