This drive works with 100 MB and 250 MB Zip disks. We used this drive with a Sonnet USB adapter in our Macs running OS 9.1. According to Iomega. The drive should be compatible with Mac OS 8.6 to 9.x, early versions of OS X with built-in Zip support, and with Windows 98, Me, 2000, and XP. This is a nice Zip setup including a 6-foot USB cable and a Solutions CD with user manuals and Iomegaware 4.0.3. Surprisingly this version of Iomegaware has both Mac OS Classic and OS X installers from 2002. So you might be able to use Iomegaware in early versions of OS X.
