The upper and lower front panel on the drop down have pressed or carved designs with an oak leaf or similar leaf design. The overall maximum dimensions when closed are about 17" wide and 20" tall. With the front panel dropped down and the chains fully extended. The top of the post on the front panel is 11" from the wall. There are a pair of eye hooks on the back to assist in mounting. But it appears to me that you might wish to add some sort of more substantial mounting mechanism. Condition: Overall. The stand is in fairly nice condition for its age, but there are a number of condition issues that should be noted: The varnish has some crazing ... moreand wear. Vintage Retro Mid Century Steel Wire Wall Mount Magazine Holder Rack Shabby Gold I went to the flea market this past weekend- so that means lots of new goodies for you! Here is a wonderful rustic mid-century wall mount magazine rack- perfect to use for so many other purposes too- to hold letters. Rolled towels in your bathroom- the possibilities are limited to your imagination! It is made of steel wire, and has a gold finish that is shabby worn. You can see that the gold finish is worn down to the steel in spots all over- especially on the inside bottom as I'm showing in my close ups- and there's light surface rust where the metal is exposed. I love it rustic like it is, but you could easily paint if that's ... morenot for you. It measures 13" widest at the back, 11" widest at the front, 12 3/8" tall at the back, 8 3/4" tall at the front, and it's 5" deep from the back, to the front which is angled in order to hold the magazines. It weighs 1 lb. It has two mounting holes at the back and is in excellent solid and sturdy condition structurally- aside from the finish wear, no other issues. Did you notice how the simple design of the top of the back and top of the front seem to simulate the roof of a pagoda? Please ask if you have any questions. A very nice white. Rattan wooden. wall, magazine rack/ holder. This piece is quite love and would b a great decorative piece to add to you shabby or cottage beach style. The rack measures approx. 20" tall from tip of back post to bottom, 14" on the front that makes the part to put the mags in, the sides taper from 6" to 4 12" And there is an 8" drop from back where the magazine holder part starts. It has a wonderful oil painted scene of ships in a circle surrounded by tole painted flowers. This artwork is in wonderful condition for age with only minimal scratches. The front hinges down and is attached on the side with brass chains. It hangs on the wall. The frame is wood with gesson on top with faux wood painting. There are some chips in the corner. But still nice. On the top there were originally 2 metal loops to hang. One is missing and can be replaced; however. The back of the wood is missing in that area, so you'll have to build up that small section so that you can screw in the 2nd hook. This is a very solid and sturdy 7 pocket oak and metal magazine or display rack that is made to be wall mounted. It can be used for a home office. School, waiting room or business display. The sides of the rack are made out of solid oak wood and the pockets are made out of red metal. This rack is in excellent nearly new condition. There are only a few light scratches and marks on the front faces of the metal pockets. The rack measures app. 57" tall by app. 15" wide across the front. The oak sides measure app. 3 1/4" wide. The rack can be mounted almost anywhere and is narrow enough to fit on a wall near a door opening. It is very professional looking and fits very well with todays designer office colors. Here for your pleasure is a nifty vintage brass wall stand/rack which can fulfill many varied and functional purposes. It measures 34" high by 12.75" wide at the base and 8" wide at the top. Its load-bearing capabilities are probably most related to the wall attachment. It can stand on its own cute feet. But is not free-standing. The shelves fold and are attached to the frame with ball-head brass screws. As with any vintage item, it is not perfect. The brass has been highlighted, but not polished. So the maps you are buying will be in a condition that reflects both of these facts. The map you get may be worn along the fold lines due to the acidity of the paper and being folded for years. Some of them also have been written on with the date and location. Usually on back but sometimes on the edges. They may also have tiny holes beginning to form where the fold lines meet. They may also be discolored or mottling spots again due to the acidity of the paper. The borders of the maps may also have small ... moretears. On occasion maps may smell musty from the way they have been stored in the past. When the map is kept in an open area the musty smell will fade away in time. Any damage that is above and beyond the norm will be disclosed.
