Stren Cul-M-Rite Tournament Fish Scale
This is an older Stren Cul-M-Rite Fish Scale that originally cost $180. 7 colored Floats are included- and everything stores nicely in the case. The Scale. Floats, and Case are in good shape with very little wear. The included User Manual has a few of the pages stuck together which can't be read. The good news is that all of the critical directions are printed on the back of the unit. It is pretty easy to use. Just weigh each fish as you catch it and store it in the unit- keep track of the fish with the colored floats and the unit will tell you which one to cull. Pretty simple. It will also tell you the total weight. I haven't fished in a tourney in years and this was just collecting dust. I put in a brand new 9v Battery and checked it out on a few different weights and compared them against my digital food scale. I have attached ... morepics showing the digital food scale at 5.176 Pounds and the Fish Scale at 5 Pounds. 3 Ounces, which is about 5.19 Pounds- Pretty close! I also verified that you can still enter multiple weights(fish) keep track of the total weight, and quickly identify the lightest weight(which fish to cull) Maximum weight you can measure is 15 Pounds. While looking on eBay to see if any of these had sold recently. I did find one and I came across the following information. I checked out the website and they still show the same info if you happen to need a repair some day: The last I checked. Culmrite was repairing these for $19.95 plus parts, not sure if it is still applicable on this unit, you may contact them at. One advantage this one has over the new ones is you can replace the 9 volt battery yourself without taking the unit apart. The current model is selling for $200 brand new. This listing offers a partial spool of Original Stren 20 lb. test gold high visibility line. There is quite a bit of line left. But just how much is anyone's guess. Spool originally held 2400 yards. I've included photos to show remainder. Spool and line alone weigh 1 lb. 1 oz. Line appears in good condition and still strong. Thanks for looking!
