This wonderful vintage collectable was recently rescued from an estate auction. DESCRIPTION#519: Looking for a new forever home is this rescued PAIR of VINTAGE WHITE ENAMELWARE with BLACK TRIM. A COFFEE POT and a TEA POT. The coffee pot is tall, 10-12 cup capacity, wide round bottom narrows to a generous spout and hinge attached lid with black wood knob. Black metal handle. The tea pot holds 4-6 cups and has a cute chubby shape with curved spout, round removable lid with black wood knob. Thick wire handle attached to the main pot by two tabs that stick out from the side of the pot, thick wire is bend around to secure. Both pieces are white with black trim. Both pieces in very nice vintage condition. The photos show them in all their glory, some rust on the tall coffee pot where the handle meets the hinge opening. The lid is removable off ... morethe hinge if you open it all the way perpendicular to the metal handle grip. The wire handle on the tea pot is not perfectly symmetrical. Few very minor dings, no big dents. Some areas of white paint loss, on tea pot there is a 1/2" oval area around the lid rim where the white surface is missing, a few light areas of black light smudging on the tall coffee pot. One area of white missing under the metal handle of the tall coffee pot. Minor surface rust, mostly around the bottom rim of the coffee pot, inside the spout of the tea pot, and surface scratches, all add to the vintage appeal of these two kitchen staples. A 3-wire switch is very hard to find. Rating stamped on the front 5 A 600v und lab insp. It was made in the USA. and it is patent dated on the back Sept 17. 1912. The white porcelain turn button has an"P" cast into it for PERKINS. I tested the switch with a continuity tester and it tests ok. It works as a 3 wire should. I turned the button quite a few times and the contacts worked every time. It works by twisting the white porcelain knob. Have a sensor wire harness from a 5100 white planter i bought for parts but dont need the harness. I dont know the history of the planter so you are buying it as is and i will describe it the best i can. It is a round plug as you can see in the pictures. It has a 3 prong sensor connector and a 2 prong speed connector as you can see in the pictures. It has a speed sensor off of a sprocket on the drive shaft. The sensor is not included but could be had for extra $ if you needed the sprocket it took the reading off that is available also but would take some time to take off. Also listed it the monitor that came with the planter. you can see in the last picture there is a cut in the cable a couple of feet from the monitor plug and a couple of the wires are freyed and if i was to use it i would want to resplice or solder thoes wires. Other than ... morethe cut the cable looks to me like it is in really good shape and after repairing the cut i believe it would be a good usable cable. However you are buying it as is. I was going to use the cable myself in building a bean planter but then found a complete planter so plans changed. I have it listed cheap compared to a new one.
