Large antique store cabinet. I don't know what kind of wood it is but it is very heavy solid wood. Top and bottom do not come apart. It is all one piece. It measures 7 ft 6 1/4 in by 6 ft wide. 20 in deep at the bottom and 14 1/2 in deep at the top. It has 2 large shelves to go in the bottom and 4 smaller ones for the top. It has been in storage and is dusty. We were going to fix it and use it in our house but have moved and no longer have room for it. Picture isn't very good. It is not wider at the bottom like it looks in the picture. It is just the way I was standing below it. The doors are missing and it needs to be refinished. Up for auction is this absolutely beautiful china cabinet that measures approximately seven and a half feet high and five feet at its widest point. There are four glass doors on the upper half. The bottom contains four center drawers. And two large doors for storage on the sides. Original brass pulls throughout. Ornate carvings on top. With its pediment. Two glass shelves on the interior. Bought new around 1983. There is an inch-long wear to the finish on the right front corner. Sorry. But we accidentally chopped it from the last picture. It was in our family home since its purchase. 1930's Antique Wardrobe Steamer Trunk - Local Pickup
Charming old wardrobe trunk available to add to your collection of antiques! Since it is super heavy. Local Pickup only. What's so cool about this wardrobe trunk is that it has features that so many of the other wardrobes you see don't have or they're missing! Also. It was restored approximately 20 years ago and is still in good condition. You may want to repaint or reline the trunk to make it your own, but you don't have to worry about a bunch of repairs because they were already done. For example, the metal trim was not brass and so it was painted. It could easily be repainted to suit your needs. As for the unique, original features, the trunk includes: a wooden ironing board, metal bracket for iron, a pull out holder for the ironing board, 6 wooden hangers- one of which holds a cloth laundry bag, a removeable wooden box(holds ... moreshoes.lap desk? and 4 drawers- among other features. It's missing the outside lock and original leather handle(handle was replaced with a strong leather buckled handle) The key to the inside lock, the narrow flat bar that slides in front of the drawers, and some material behind the drawers. Some of the material is faded. The hinges and drawer pulls are secure and in functional condition except one outside latch(this doesn't prevent the trunk from closing tightly. The metal rods that hold the hangers extend out to hold the ironing board and are easy to slide in/out. All the drawers are lined with material and are in good/clean condition. The top drawer is divided into three compartments and is in good condition. The two middle drawers are in good condition too. The bottom drawer is deep and has a shallow pull out tray which exposes a cool feature. The feature is a sphere shaped cloth form that straps to the side of the drawer with leather. The original leather is still in place and functional. But somewhat brittle. My guess is that a hat could be pinned to the form to keep it safe for travel. There are manyshallow“impressions” on the body, headstock and neck from years of gentle use,but no“gashes”through the finish. You haveto hold the guitar at an angle to see most of the dents/impressions. I also upgraded from the original closedMartin tuners to Waverly open back nickel tuners.
