This is a really neat and rather hard to find original book printed by International Harvester Company in 1928 titled"Overhauling the McCormick Deering 10-20 and 15-30 tractors"as told by actual photographs. It measures about 6 x 9 inches and has 136 pages. It is in excellent condition for being 86 years old! It covers all of the aspects of overhauling and rebuilding these tractors. It is very detailed and is HEAVILY illustrated with an actual photograph on almost every page! It would be a fine addition to any early agricultural literature collection especially if you like International Harvester and have one of the tractors! It would be a priceless piece if you are rebuilding or restoring one of these tractors as it would likely answer any question you may have about the project. I just found a BUNCH of old Tractor manuals(check my other auctions over the next few days) This one is an original International Harvester McCormick Deering No. 42 Harvester-Thresher Instruction Manual. Up for auction is a valve cover wing nut with stud. Fits the LA and LB engines 1 1/2- 2 1/2 hp size. Good shape with no damage or repairs. Original IHC McCormick Deering 10-20 15-30 Tractor Power Unit Engine Curtains
This is a VERY hard to find original set of side engine curtains for an International Harvester McCormick Deering tractor or power unit. They are in good used condition with some minor blemishes but could easily be made perfect. There is some rust-out behind the emblem on one of them and some minor dents and dings. The most notable in the last picture. These could also be easily taken care of. These measure about 21 1/2 x 40 3/4 inches. I'm pretty sure they are for a 15-30 or P-30 power unit but measure your application to be sure they're correct. I also think that they may be for an I-30 as they have the original industrial"International" aluminum emblems on them. They also have the original lift handles and close hooks on them. These curtains are extremely tough to find in any condition and these are pretty darn nice. ... moreThey certainly wouldn't take much to make perfect.
