You are looking at a very nice running. Low hour, well maintained Gehl 6635 Series II DXT High flow with service records back to new. The machine has been very well taken care of,with all regular maintenance done and any issue that has came up on the machine has been repaired promptly. This skid steer runs nice and smooth and has a ton of power. I just put a brand new set of 12-16.5 SOLIDEAL HAULER WIDE WALL HAULER SKS tires on the skid steer and it is ready to get to work. This machine comes with the enclosed heated cab, it does not have air but does have a fan. The glass for the cab is all in good condition with no cracks or gouges. The seat is in very good condition as you can see in the pictures. All the controls and functions work as they should. The skid steer has the Gehl style controls where the left side operates your boom and bucket ... moreand the right control runs your steering. The machine does not drift or creep and the parking brake functions as it should. I have a used pair of Loegering TRAIL BLAZER F-series tracks for all skid steer loaders with 10" x 16.5" rubber tires. These make it possible to navigate in otherwise impossible situations. These have 8 adjustment points to make fitment very easy. The tracks are 171" long currently, but you can add or remove links if you find it necessary to fit your particular machine. MELROE BOBCAT M-500 SKIDSTEER SKID STEER BUCKET FORKS NEW TIRES LOADER
Up for your consideration is an older used Bobcat Melroe M-500 skid steer loader. I do not know a lot about this unit as I just recently purchased it with intent to go through the whole thing and make it real nice. Things have changed in life so I am going to part with it. It has a twin cylinder gas engine that runs good. I am going to guess around 24 horsepower or so. I just purchased 4 brand new rims and tires at a cost of $1500.00. The original ones will go with it. The old rims are in usable condition. However the tires are pretty junkie, but they do hold air. I was planning on putting something smooth on the old rims in case I ever wanted to do some work on a lawn, not to tear it up so much. There is also a second bucket and a set of forks with it as well. The other bucket is much nicer that the one that is on the machine now. The forks ... moreare in real good shape and not bent up or anything like that. Most, if not all of the of the hydraulic hoses have been replaced recently. It does have auxiliary hydraulics on it but the foot pedal that operates it is missing. The machine has a couple little oil leaks here or there, but that should probably be expected for a unit of this age. I have had the side covers off of it and looked everything over before I bought it and all the gears/sprockets and chains look really good. I changed all the fluids and filters when I bought it. There are a few quirky things that need to be addressed. The rubber hose that goes from the carb to the are filter needs attention. It is cracked and should be repaired. Probably find a universal radiator hose to work. The sticks will need adjusting as it tends to move in the neutral position. There are some pins that need cotter pins installed as there are bent screws and nails instead. A couple of grease fittings need replacing. The muffler is kind of cobbled, but does work and is quiet.
