Looking at drive end this is a counter clock wise rotation. Brass base is marked American Bosch DU2 ED18 PATD OCT. 17 O5. The drive coupler has the name AMERICAN BOSCH MAGNETO CORP. PATENTED JULY 28. 1903 OTHER PATENTS PENDING. This is a high tension magneto magneto and is very hot troughs a 1/4" spark on both lead outs. Base mounting plate is good with bolt pattern on 2" x 2" centers with good threads. Came from a collector's estate. No cracks. Welds or repairs. See Photos! NICE HOT 3 BAR BRASS WEBSTER LOW TENSION MAGNETO HIT & MISS GAS ENGINE FARM L@@K
You are bidding on a very nice all brass body. 3 bar Webster low tension magneto. It's totally complete, and in great shape. The name band does have a couple cracks in it, but it's still holding together. The only things you could say are missing are two of the spring rollers, and you can buy those brand new for just a couple dollars each. The armature is a little sticky, it probably just needs to be used, and I don't think this mag has been on an engine in many, many years. Studs are all in great shape, and the same length. The body is also in really good shape. If you want a magneto for a large engine and don't want to worry about corrosion, or cracking, this is it! These 3 bar brass Webster are few and far between! This is really heavy for its size. This came of a Vintage Oak Wall Phone box. When you turn the crank the bells would ring loud. PLEASE READ THE COMPLETE DESCRIPTION! INSPECT ALL PHOTOS! This magneto has been cleaned. Glass beaded and any repairs needed have been made. IT HAS NEW CONDENSER AND NEW POINTS. This magneto fires well. It does have a small chip in the back of the magneto near the paw stop in the centering ring(see photo) The missing chip will not interfere with the magnetos performance. It has a good distributor cap. I can see the white timing mark through the little window clearly. This is a Wico model XH1344. It turns clockwise. The drive cup number is,3750. The serial number is,149646 This magneto for NON DIESEL farmall or IH engines. Models A.B,C,H,M,W4,W6. This magneto should also work to replace the Case JMA magneto used on Case S and mid to late D series that use the flange mount magneto. A Mid-Victorian Silver Plated Sugar Bowl by Thomas Prime - Magneto Plate c.1860
Here we have a gorgeous mid-Victorian silver plated sugar bowl made by Thomas Prime c.1860. This bowl is a classic large Victorian shape with good quality engraved decoration. and 2 vacant cartouches ideal for armorials or initials. The piece is fully marked under with a set of faux hallmarks. They show this piece is made from magneto-plate which is a method Prime developed in the 1850's. Measurements(approx) it measures in total 5” 127mm) high x 8" 203mm) wide. Condition: No major issues to report. The plate is almost entirely intact on the exterior although there is some wear to the interior. Couple of small dents to both of the cartouches that could easily be beaten out and are in fact only visible in the correct light. Considering it is around 150 years old the condition is very good. There are no bells on this box. I think it's meant to ring bells on another unit. The magneto puts out about 75 volts when cranked fast. There is no key included to lock the door.
