Original JOHN DEERE Moldboard Disk Plow Sales Catalog Farm Hit Miss Gas Engine
This is a nice. Original sales catalog for John Deere Moldboard and Disk plows. It is from 1969 and measures about 8 1/2 x 11 inches with 52 pages. It is in good condition with minor wear and the four center pages are loose from the staples but they are there. It covers all of the plows that John Deere offered at the time including semi mount, on land, reversible in both mold board and disk types. It also shows the hydraulic reset bottom plows. It is heavily illustrated in color and shows you information features for all of the models. This would be a fine addition to your John Deere sales literature collection. The pictures tell the story. Up for auction I have a john deere three bottom trip plow. I believe it to be a model 55 but I am not a plow expert so I am not sure. The plow wS used two years and did a great job. It did a nice clean even job. We pulled it with our john deere G and it did great. The bottoms are in good shape and aren't worn through anywhere like they usually are. They still have a lot of life left in them. The counters are still in good shape aswell and all three are there. It had the correct and origin around sole rims that are in good shape. It also has the rare and hard to find steel tail wheel. They are most often a rubber tired tailwheel. I didn't see any breaks or welds on the plow anywhere. 318 tractor for sale. Sold as is. Tractor runs and has been used to mow my own lawn for the past 6 years and has been in my family since it was purchased new. All parts are original. Tractor includes the factory installed rear PTO and rear 3 pt hitch. The 3 pt hitch is not attached but all pieces are shown in pictures and appears to be 100% complete. The snow plow is disassembled but as shown in pictures all parts are there for re-assembly. Engine burns oil and may need some work. All hydraulics work as they should. This is no garden tractor snow plow. To use the hydraulic angle feature. You MUST have front hydraulic lines installed on the front of your tractor or loader frame. Same as you need for a clam-shell bucket. They are the standard hydraulic fittings found on most tractors. Nothing exotic! This is the“Quick Attach System” just pull two pins and drop it or install it. Plug in the hydraulic lines and go to work. No different than putting on a bucket. This snow plow by Curtis is their“Hitch-n-Run” system. According to Curtis. It is a universal plow which will fit other loaders with the correct attaching brackets welded to the plow. Curtis sold me the correct brackets for the John Deere and I had them professionally welded to plow frame. When I bought it. It had been on a Kabota tractor. I simply bought the John Deere brackets for my tractor. I had three metal loops welded to the top of the plow for easy lifting when not attached to the loader. This is a good running John Deere riding lawn mower. It was donated to our charity by a local resident. The tractor starts right up and runs great. It does have a crack in the hood and one of the headlight housings is broken. The 17hp Kohler motor has plenty of power to turn the blades on the 48' cutting deck. It also comes with a plow. John Deere 400 Tractor w/ 60” Mower Deck, 47” Snow Blower, 54” Snow Plow
Up for auction is a John Deere 400 Tractor with a 60” Mower Deck. 47” 2 Stage Snow Blower, 54” Snow Plow and accessories. The tractor is in great running shape. This is a full hydraulic drive tractor with hydraulic hookup for tools. The body is in good overall condition with some scuffs and scrapes from trees and bushes. The tractor was just in our local JD dealer for a tune up so it is ready for the new owner. John Deere 47” Snow Blower is off of a late model John Deere and it has a custom Quick Attach Mount that will hook up to a lot of the newer JD Tools. The snow blower works great and it has hydraulic lift. Hydraulic shoot rotation, as well as a custom electric shoot deflector, so you do not have to get off the machine to turn anything. This snow blower on this 400 will throw snow 30+ feet, and will eat its way through the biggest snow ... moremounds. John Deere 54” Snow Plow. This plow is fully hydraulic with both power up and down also power angle. This plow has a newer cutting edge and newer shoes, with only a few uses on them. The plow has both spring trip edge protection as well as a pin to pin it to push dirt and gravel. Accessories. As you can see in the pictures there are a lot of custom fabrication to have newer JD Parts on this machine, Some of the accessories included are, 4-42lb suite case weights on a custom suite case rack(will hold 6 weights but I have never needed more than the 4) Tire weight kit, and Tire Chains This is a package deal. A Good. Strong, John Deere 3-16" bottom plow with coulters. I believe this to be a F 125 model but I am not sure. Category II 3-point hitch. Trip bottoms. Plow has been welded around hitch. Appears to be a good strong weld, look at photos. It will take about 50- 60 hp to pull in Minnesota dirt. Will work nice behind a JD 3010, 3020 or other tractor of comparable power.
