Found the manuals, which have been used and show mechanic's smudges and as you can see, the corner of the red book has some small parts of the corner missing. All pages are there. This listing is for a Nice Reconditioned Farmall/ IH J4 magneto assembly. This magneto will fit Farmall Cub. IH lo boy and C-60 Power Unit This mag was taken completley taken apart/ cleaned/ inspected and parts replaced as needed. The aluminum was clear coated for corrosion protection prior to assembly. The trip mechanism was taken apart and cleaned/ lubricated and operates as it should. Assembled with new hardware! The front mag cap/ rotor and coil cover is in very nice condition. The top coil cap and front mag cap is marked IH. The ignition system is in nice condition along with rotor! Crankshaft magnet and coil is very strong! Front and rear bushings were cleaned and lubricated. When I finished repairs, I test the mag and it had a real nice hot blue spark. The mag in the picture is the mag you will receive. I am selling an Original zenith carburetor shown that is FROZE UP off of an farmall cub tractor I assume it is in useable shape for PARTS ONLY! NO repairs! it does NOT move! 1953 Farmall Cub Antique Tractor NO RESERVE International McCormick Deering
1953 Farmall Cub serial number 1762517J. This little tractor came out of a local collection, it has been shedded for the last 5 years, it has been run occasionally but not much, it has factory hydraulics that work good and smooth, has lights but they are not working, comes with a drawbar, the PTO works good, the engine runs good good oil pressure, engine does not smoke, when we first got it running we needed to keep the choke on all the way but now it will run with no choke but does run the best with about half choke, the more it is run the better it is getting, taking carb. off and cleaning it would not hurt I am sure it is gummed up from sitting, it is still 6 volt, the brakes work good, the transmission is good, the steering has very little play from 12 to 1 oClock at most, the frontend under radiator is not busted or welded, the metal ... moreis solid but it does have a few dings but will restore easily, the rims are good, the rear tires are 9.5/25 at 50% they are older tires with some weathering but will last for a long time, this tractor has a good motor runs and drives well has factory hydraulics and PTO, with solid metal but it has been sitting, it is running in the photos would be a great tractor to put to work or restore it.
