Hello! This auction is for a Plate Number Coil strip of 5 of Scott 3208A. The(25c) nondenominated Presorted First-Class rate Diner Coil, plate# 1111 with a die-cut shift between 1R and 2R(the first and second stamps on the right) The printed stamp image remains constant from stamp to stamp, but there is a distinct shift of the die-cutting mat horizontally and vertically. This can be seen most easily as a thinner left white border on the first stamp on the right, compared to the second, as well as a thicker lower border of the 1st stamp, compared to the second. The John Rutledge House Inn was built before the American Revolution and was the residence of John Rutledge. First governor of South Carolina.
