This catalog is a booklet format of 48 pages including the covers measuring about 6" x 9" I don't find a date on this catalog but it contains testimonials dated between 1927 and 1931 and appears to be from around this 1931 or 1932 time period. This catalog is nicely illustrated throughout with numerous photos and lots of detailed information on the features and benefits, details of construction and lots more. This catalog is 100% complete and well intact. There is some light foxing and some toning to the paper from age. There is a bit of a corner crease on the front cover and the former owner applied ... moretwo small pieces of clear tape to the inside front cover. This tape has dried up and turned brown but the two pieces are small and dont' detract much and only affect the inside front cover. Allis Chalmers Gleaner FKS 13ft floating bean head - fits Gleaner F & F2 combine
You are viewing a used grain head that was used with a F gleaner combine. It has a floating cutter bar and a wobble box drive. It was used two years ago in soybeans and worked great. Before it was used. Several of the fingers on the head were replaced with new ones, some of the wood cross pieces on the reel were replaced, and the head was given a good going over. I bought it from a neighbor that used it and kept it in good condition. I bought it to use with our Gleaner F. But since then I have bought a different model Gleaner, so this is not needed. I do not have shed room to keep it in out of the weather, so it is for sale. The head is in very good condition for its age and worked good when last used. It has a wobble box type sickle drive which is better than the pitman type the older ones had. The sickle looks newer and you can tell that ... moreany parts that needed to be replaced on the head were replaced. It also has variable speed reel drive. It has the standard width opening for a F and it has the quick attach hooks on the top of the head to mount it with. This is too big to ship on a pallet- I have a crane and forklifts we can load it with onto a truck or trailer or whatever you bring to haul it with.
