1953 Allis Chalmers WD-45 Antique Tractor NO RESERVE Wide Front Power Steering
1953 Allis Chalmers WD-45 tractor serial number 146885. This tractor starts and runs good, it is running in the photos, it has good oil pressure, restoration was started the tractor is all cleaned up and ready to finish the previous owner ran out of time to finish it, still has the original decals on the hood and grill, the wide front is in excellent condition it is a 4 bolt and is nice with no welds or breaks, it has Charlynn Power Steering on it, it works excellent you can steer it with one finger, the hood and gas tank are excellent original i didnt find any dings in them the grill is good and solid but does have a few dings on upper left side you should be able to see them in photos, it has a steel belt pulley on it, the PTO works good, it has the Allis rear two point hydraulic lift and it does work, has a good drawbar, the fenders have ... morebeen reapinted they are in nice solid condition not all rusted out, the seat has also been redone, the seat spring and shock are good and do work as they should, the brakes work good they will lock up the rear tires, transmission works good, clutch is good, it has live PTO if you use the hand clutch which also works good, rear tires are 14.9/28 at 30% tread older tires but good and solid with a few cracks and will last fro a long time, rear rims are good they are spin out rims one of them is loose as it will make a clicking noise at times when you are driving the tractor, it is 12 volt and the charging system does work, this is a very nice running and driving tractor, the power steering makes it a joy to drive, finish restoring it or use as, take to parades or tractor rides. I'm selling another tractor from my collection. This one is a Allis Chalmers WD45 wide front end. Tractor runs great. Does not smoke, all the gears work, brakes work, tires are old but hold air. Tractor has a rebuilt carburetor, new plugs, and new coil. The bottom radiator hose will need either a new hose or clamp as it seeps a little water. I've had the tractor 3 or 4 years. Item: Tractor Make: Allis Chalmers Model: WD Year of Manufacture: 1948(According to the owner. Due to the extremely low serial number, this particular tractor was made in 1948. However many would argue that 1949 was the first year of manufacture. Serial# 7072(This is the number that the owner says was on it at one point in time and was once legible during the restoration process but is no longer noticeable at all after restoration and a new paint job. There is no way for us to verify this information. Engine Hours: There are approximately 10 hours on the current engine that was completely overhauled in 2009. Since the full restoration in 2009. This tractor has mainly been driven in parades and around town occasionally. Restoration: This tractor was fully restored in 2009. Restoration included nearly $900.00 worth of engine overhaul. 6 volt ... moregenerator was converted to a 12 volt alternator(distributor and coil remain 6 volt) after market power steering was added, lots of body work to include a gas cap that was welded into the hood for power steering fluid access, new modified rear rims were added that came off of an old Allis Chalmers combine, 4 new tires and tubes(current rear tire size is 16 x 28, original was 11 x 28) Condition: Currently in very good working condition. There are a few small dents here and there and some paint corrosion around the gas cap. Always kept in shed when not in use. Easy to start(fires up every time even after sitting for a spell) Owner has always kept the tractor well maintained. I picked up 2 of these thinking they were for my H3 they are not. set screw is on wrong side. I took them apart and cleaned and inspected them. the armatures have been growled and passes I sanded the commutators but they look like they were recently turned. I lubed the bushings ad reassembled. they run. But I do not have the correct tractor to try them on they are sold as is. I have a second listing with other one) this one has a stud for the batt cable like you would use with a solenoid. has 10 teeth on the bendix I received this message on the other starter. that starter will not fit on a allis b. allis b starters have 14 teeth so please do your homework. and make sure it fits what you are working on thanks

Offered for sale is a 3 point hitch system that fits the snap coupler hitch on Allis-Chalmers WD-45 and others. As you can see in the picture. One small piece of pipe is missing of the cross pipe in the middle of the hitch. It should be easy to cut a piece to fit. This item is heavy and not easy to package so it is being sold as pickup only but I will be happy to pallet for shipment and will consider disassembly and boxing for UPS but that will add several dollars to your cost.
