John Deere 455 Diesel Garden Tractor 60" Deck & 3 Point Hitch and 540 Rear PTO
John Deere 455 diesel garden tractor with rear 3 point hitch and 540 PTO. A good running tractor. Both tail lights are brand new just installed. Tractor is used in working operating condition. 1548 original hours. Buying as seen in pictures. Engine starts. Runs and sounds good. Engine does not seem to burn any oil. Engine sounds good. Transmission and hydraulics work good. Power steering is good. Missing top center link on 3 point. 3 point is cat. 0 and has 5/8" lift arm mounting holes and takes a 1/2" mounting hole top link. You can purchase a new aftermarket Cat. 0 top link for around 35.00. PTO engage knob mounting bolt is broken off but you can still pull on the rod to engage the PTO. Both side panels are broken but do stay in place. Both side panels need to be replaced. Hood is scratched. Scraped and has a crack in the front ... moreleft corner. See pictures. The only rust I can see on the body panels is on the rear fender where it meets the foot rest panel. See picture. Metal body parts are faded with scratches. Scrapes, dings and abrasions. See pictures. Seat has several cracks. Front tire treads don't match. Front and rear lights work. Both tail lights are brand new. Later 60" deck with plastic belt covers. Deck is solid. NO rust holes. Deck spindle bearings turn free but sound a little rough. Deck has one small crack by the right hand rear wheel bracket where it meets the deck. Not a bad crack and can be welded without any problem. Front rims have a lot of peeling paint. You can take the mower for a test drive before you load and if you feel it is not as described you do not have to take it. Local Pickup preferred. If you want this shipped you will have to arrange your own shipping. I will NOT crate the mower you will have to arrange to have it picked up without crating. I will help load. You are bidding on a pretty good older Allis Chalmers. 3-Point Hitch, 2-Row Corn Planter. Everything seems to work as it should on it. We had it in the shop and checked it out. Drivechains and sprockets are all good, gears and bearings all seem good. It does have the"double disc" seed openers on it. It is all greased up, chains oiled and ready to go. It comes with 3 different sets of corn seed plates. I believe it is ready to take home and go to the field and plant corn. The lids for the seed boxes and the tops of the seed boxes are broken some as you can see in the pictures, but that does not really effect it working and planting. Overall it looks to be a pretty decent planter, but keep in mind it is an old planter and it is not perfect. It does have some wear on it, but still has lots of life left in it. This is a 3-bike Thelma for a 2" hitch. It was sold and briefly used for 26" bikes. However. One of the riders switched to a 29" wheel bike and needed the larher 29" wheel holders which were obtained and mounted on this rack. Because he had a large frame(22" the wheel holders were not far enough apart to hold his wheels. The rack. Up for bids is a heavy duty 16" 2 bottom plow. This plow was cut down from a bigger set of plows to fit a cat 1 3 pt hitch. All the components(ie. shin moldboard frog. Ect) have quite a bit of life left. The plow is painted red, but there is green paint underneath so Im not sure of manufacturer. Plow was used this spring. The tractor is in good operating condition and was just repainted, front bucket crack welded and oil changed. A new ignition switch, voltage generator and regulator were just installed. The tractor engine runs great with no smoke. The transmission is a 8 forward and 7 reverse with a forward and reverse leaver in good operation. The clutch engages at the upper end but still grabs and wheels will spin loading dirt. Turf tires hold air no leaks but show tread wear. The year is a 1989 L2550DT SN 56982 hour meter 2445 hours. This was a local dealer trade-in. A medium size tractor weighing 2380 pounds plus the loader about 1000. No reserve. Headlights and rear flashers work. You are bidding on a pretty good older Ford model"309" 3-Point Hitch, 2-Row Corn Planter. It is standard category one 3-point hitch and does have the"Flex Hitch" on it for better ground following. Everything seems to work as it should on it. We had it in the shop and checked it out. Drivechains and sprockets are all good, gears and bearings all seem good. It is all greased up, chains oiled and ready to go. It does come with one set of corn seed plates. I believe it is ready to take home and go to the field and plant corn. Overall it looks to be a pretty decent clean planter, but keep in mind it is an old planter and it is not perfect. It does have some wear on it, but still has lots of life left in it. One of the seed corn hoppers has had a patch put on it. This planter sat in an old shed for years and the roof had a leak ... morethat dripped water on the side of the tin corn hopper and rusted it out. Like I said, has been patched and works good. Double Disc Harrow. Originally made for Category"0" 3 point hitch. Bracket was added to accommodate use with my Case 446 tractor with a sleeve hitch. The last photo shows the sleeve hitch for information purposes only; the sleeve hitch is NOT INCLUDED! As it stays with the tractor which may be listed at a later date. I have not used it for a few years but it seems to roll freely. It has 4 grease fittings. Usable condition but of course it has rust on it. Sold as is and for LOCAL PICK-UP ONLY.
