Hamburg American Clock Wall Regulator Movement & Mounting Bracket
Up for sale is this movement and mounting bracket from a Hamburg American wall clock. I wound the clock. It ran for about a day and a half, rewound and the same result so it is running. The gong on the bracket sticks up a little too much and was causing friction with the pendulum(not included) so I had to tape it back in order to test movement, you will probably seek a more permanent solution. The gong strike spring is pretty tight and doesn't seem right to me, it did seem to work, but I am selling that function as is. The face is just short of 6" diameter. This pair of vintage drapery wall hooks are up for sale. These hooks are very stout. And I wasn't sure about the brass, so I scratched the back of one very deeply, and it appears the brass is solid. If they are metal dipped in brass, then the brass still runs pretty deep. At any rate, these are a nice addition to any room, or any set of vintage decorations, or any antique collection. The hooks are deep, measuring 6" from the top of the flower to the bottom of the hook, and the pair together weighs 1 pound 11 ounces. Of course, each one is pre-drilled for easy mounting on the wall. Brass screws are not included, but you could find those. Vintage Wall Mount Coffee Grinder on Hand Carved Wooden Mounting
Wonderful and unusual old coffee grinder in good condition. Purchased in Europe. Total height including lid and glass cup is 8 1/2 inches. Width is 5 inches. There are no chips or cracks on the glass cup. The wooden lid is in great condition including the rubber seal inside the lid. There is a slight scuff on the outside edge of the lid. The handle turns freely and gears look very clean. There is an adjustment apparatus on the top of the handle for fine to course grinds. There are no cracks or chips on the white glass bowl coffee bean container. There is some surface rust on the metal handle. As would be expected with an item of this age. There is what appears to be an old repair to a corner of the wooden mount, but it is hardly noticeable and has no missing pieces of wood. Overall, this grinder is in great shape and is perfectly usable to ... moregrind coffee beans or just to hang on your wall as a beautiful accent.
