It is in very good condition and when I tested it I noticed that the top tier pieces were still sealed in a bag so I assume this fountain was not used much. Probably dates from the late 60s-70s, based on the package design. It measures about 15" in diameter and stands about 12" tall with the top tier in place. The directions recommend adding 4 quarts of liquid, but I think 3 quarts is likely a better ... morebet, as it was very full to the rim when turned off with only 3 quarts in it. The bottom unit is heavy and holds everything just fine. The bottom pot also has holes in it in case water gets down there. There is a valve on the inner stem which allows better water control in case it bubbles a little splashy at the top. There is a click-switch control(to turn it on or off) on the cord. It's probably not designed as well as a more modern drinking fountain. But it is full of vintage flair, especially with the light inside which illuminates the fountain from the bottom.
