Old Vintage laboratory ceramic filters Pyrex glass & porcelain tops 7 total
This is for a collection of 7 old ceramic filters. At least that is what I believe they are but it has been over 30 years since I was in a chemistry lab so if you think it is something else please let me know and I will revise the listing. There are 7 of them in 3 varying sizes. Two have a porcelain top and measure 9 inches in length and about 2 inches in width. I don't know the brand for the porcelain ones or who made it since no marking on it to say. The 5 glass topped ones are made by Pyrex(Corning) The 3 shorter are 10.75 inches long including the glass top and about 3.25 inches in circumference and the 2 longer ones are 14 inches in length including glass top and about 5.5 inches in circumference. Great for the chemistry collector or a science museum exhibit. These came from a well known chemistry laboratory in my area. Some of the ... moreitems were custom made for this chemistry laboratory so they are unique pieces and historical. These are all the remaining ones I have. They could use some cleaning but will let buyer do that. I did clean up one of them but only used soap and water. Since they are ceramic and somewhat breakable. Sending via priority mail includes insurance up to $50. I will package as best as I can to prevent any breakage that could occur in transit by the postal service. Just to let you understand about the shipping, all 7 together weigh about 3 lbs, plus the packaging materials that are added to the box so in total weight comes to around 4 lbs. You are bidding on a used but a complete set of vacuum flask. Funnel, stopper, and filter paper(12.5cm) The flask is in great condition. But probably needs a wash. The Coors funnel is made of ceramic and takes 12.5cm filter paper size. It is clean and hardly used. The filter paper is by Whatman# 4.0 grade. MILLIPORE FILTER HOLDER PYREX PART# 2& 4 WITH CLAMP I don't know much about this item. But it appears to be in good condition other than some chips in the glass funnel(part#2) where it joins to part#4. There are about 4 chips along the edge varying in sizes up to about 3/16" of an inch. the largest prominent along the top edge as shown. There is also one small chip on the bottom edge of the filter holder(part#4) hardly visible) See pics for further. The filter holder is made of Pyrex glassware and is listed as part#4. It goes up to 250ml. The funnel is also made of Pyrex and is listed as part#2 and has a rubber stopper. The aluminum clamp has the part# xx10 047 03. Millipore 47mm Pyrex Filter Holder Assembly With Stainless Screen USED
Up for auction is this"used" Millipore 47mm Pyrex filter holder assembly with stainless screen. The assembly no longer contains the anodized spring clamp or a support screen gasket(see photo of assembly) The condition of the Pyrex 250ml-marked funnel& ground glass base with stopper is excellent with no cracks/chips/defects. They were both found loose in an original box& look as if they were never used(see photos) The stainless screen was in the same box.
